Audioplayers by amarok 574 comments

hi there,

would it be possible to add a feature so you could jump to a song in the playlist by hitting the corresponding number button?
By hitting "2" amarok would play the second track in the playlist. Maybe in a two digit way? Hitting "1" and "0" straight away would play track 10.
If this would be available through DCOP I could use the number block on the remote I use via LIRC.
I would love to see this in one of the next releases.

keep up the great work, I love amarok! :) - Dec 19 2005

I don't like this at all!
Back in my Windows days I used a logitec driver with this feature and it was so annoying! It produced false (as in unwanted) clicks all the time, because it makes you click on stuff my accident. - Oct 24 2005

but imho it would be better to just fade it out. having to click ok will get annoying I guess. maybe it could stay on if you click it?!

the idea is great tho! :) - Oct 04 2005

...present in 0.8.1.
Well, what happens is, I try to pot a ball (doesn't matter which color or pocket) and sometimes I get an infinite loop just before the ball falls into the pocket.
it's a little different from the previous versions because now it doesn't crash every time this happens, sometimes the ball just doesn't roll into the pocket but stays still and I can continue playing, sometimes it crashes completely... - Mar 24 2005
