It would be nice if developers included a set of installation instructions.

There was a time when just about every package included some basic install and configuration instructions.

The lack of such severely limits the number of people who would use and try new software. - Feb 01 2010

Great looking theme, I will have to edit it to show my "Linux" hard drives and partitions, rather then those of another OS that doesn't exist on my computer.

It is indeed a great looking theme and would be one of the best I have seen if it were geared towards Linux computers. ;) - Aug 16 2008

Nothing complained about missing dependencies when installing, everything just installed without a hitch or complaint.

However when trying to run it, it complains about missing dependencies........I install one, it complains about another, install that one it complains about another and on and on.......

I just gave up on it.

It would seem to me, having it tell you what may be missing or needed during the installation would be a nice idea rather then installing and then complaining when trying to run it.. - Jul 05 2006

I use mythtv on my computers with ivtv based cards.

When I don't want the whole interface of mythtv and with the current lack of support for ivtv based cards in all the Linux television applications this application fits the bill. - May 23 2006

WEll considering kaffiene, kmplayer, kplayer and all just about other KDE multimedia apps can make use of the win32 codecs I would say it is not only very relavent but a welcome edition to kde-apps.

One of the most often asked questions is why doesn't kplayer, kmplayer, kaffiene play this file or that file - Feb 27 2006

It was unintentional, I wasn't seeing my post show up, so I tried again a couple times only when the third finally showed up, did I realize that I had posted three times. Sorry about that. - Aug 17 2005

I think this is a fantastic icon theme.

With two exceptions.

I seriously dislike the fact that my start button and the spinner in Konq are now Linspire icons.

I do not use, do not like, and do not want Linspire icons.

Shame such a beautiful theme has to be "branded" with a particular distributions labels/logos. - Jun 22 2005

I use lxdvdrip. Once it is set up it fantastic. A GUI would be nice but for now I just create a link on my desktop, insert DVD, click link, ejects ripped DVD waits for blank, put in blank DVD hit enter and it burns.

Couldn't be easier. ;) - Mar 05 2005

Actually I think yourcomment is quite useless, your comments to peoples questions are not only condescending but pretty rude.

I think if someone shows enough interest in your application to ask a simple question, you could show the courtesy of answering like a gentleman

Why even post if you are not willing to help people with something you are developing? - Feb 27 2005

I have installed Corona on all three of my linux boxes. It is clean, attractive but most of all NOT cartoonish.

So many icon sets and decos are either a rip off of another OS, bland or look like a 6th grader made them.

Very nice work, Thank You. - Sep 08 2004

I ran sensors to get the out put of each individual sensor. The problem I seem to be having is any sensor with a space in it's name simpll will not load.

I can get most of my voltage levels, and can get one temp reading that is labeled "temp" but I have several sensors that are labeled like, CPU Fan or CPU Temp (AMD) they simply will not load. They work fine in gkrellm so I know it isn't a problem with the computer.

Is there a way to fix it? I really like this application. - Jun 22 2004

As much as I like the application, I don't think I will be updating all of KDE just to use it.

I'm downloading KDE3.2 for my Slack machine, but my experience has been KDE3.2 breaks the menus and other apps in SuSE 9.0

Considering the majority of folks are still using 3.1 it would be nice to see apps still written for it. - Feb 04 2004

I have pwlib. This is the same library that gnomemeeting uses, gnomemeeting works just fine.

Works outsanding in SuSE 9

Installed it on both my desktops and my laptop, troublefree on all three.

The proper directory for SuSE 9 would be /opt/kde3

I love it, however I would like to know how to have it start when the machine boots, so when I get to my desktop it's already running. - Jan 27 2004
