because you have not w32codec install, kaffeine plays all movis if w32codec, gstream end xine engine , you dont need kplayer or other staf.I play any movie with out problems - Feb 28 2006

Extract all files too /home/...../
Then login as root , then kopy the smiles dir. too /opt/kde3/share/emoticons
