i love your lyrics plugin. It is nice and fast but sometimes it displays the lyrics as the track and the artist but no lyrics. I get this problem with the lyrics for 'low' from 'Flo-Rida feat. T-pain' It says "Powered by Googlyrics (http://udmp.info/content/view/13/29/)" when I open in external browser it works and all but I can't see it in Amarok. It takes the lyrics from Justsomelyrics.com. could you help me? thanks a lot. - May 16 2008

i'm using kubuntu intrepid ibex (8.10) x86 KDE4. (KDE 4.0.3).
i successfully compiled and installed gtk-kde4 0.6.1 and the qt4 theme and chose "Use current KDE style" and clicked 'Apply', and the window quickly popped up to apply the style/take focus and then closed. (which is normal like you said). but my gtk apps (like firefox3) still don't use the theme. i also set the icons to 'default.kde' but that gets reset to 'contrastlarge' every time open the module in systemsettings.

could this be a permissions issue? - May 08 2008

Kate Symbol Viewer Plugin

Developers Apps by dragonlord79 50 comments

Would it be possible to add an option to, say, "treat this file as if it's Java code"? I'm trying to use it for D, which, regrettably, is still not widespread enough to warrant a parser, even though kate _does_ have highlighting for it.
Anyway, since D is syntactically _somewhat_ close to Java, this would allow the symbol viewer to work at least partially.

Thanks for considering it. - Nov 14 2007

System Software by Sho 1027 comments

Hi, thanks for a great program. I use Yakuake on Slax, a live distro based on Slackware. I save .kde/share/apps/yakuake and .kde/share/config/yakuakerc so that when I restart I can get my configuration back. Everything comes back the way I like it, except for the schema. Is there another file I should be saving? I've actually been wondering about this for a while, but hadn't bothered asking. Now that there are skins, using a skin and a different schema would make it fit in better with my setup. - Oct 20 2007

I just want to add that the author of this program (gyunaev) is perhaps a little too overconfident in his programming skills. Whatever the case, he doesn't do enough testing.

Very amateurish. - May 03 2007

Using the latest version (3.0) on kde 3.5.6.

The program is *almost* very good, but kchmviewer has some debilitating deficiencies.

First, if its configured to open the last document you were reading (which is default behavior) but then you delete that document, the next time you open kchmviewer, it doesn't want to do anything because it can't find the file. It just closes. You'll need to go into the ~/.kchmviewer directory to fix it manually.

And now the bookmarks that I so happily created are not showing up. However, the *.kchmviewer files (which I assume are where the bookmarks are stored) are in my ~/.kchmviewer directory, but they seem to have been reduced to a couple of hundred bytes, which means the bookmarks must be forever gone.

I am soo irked.

This program is definitely alpha quality. Please Don't use it yet, especially if you intend to bookmark you chm files. - May 03 2007
