Had to use elegance-colors in the meantime, which is great too, but your theme just tops it! :) - Jan 24 2013

1) An option to remove the icon from the application button in the top panel.
2) An option to EITHER use the black, shortened tray panel OR the transparent, full screened one. - May 23 2012

One thing, though: Have you ever considered adopting the invert-rounded corners for the panel like in the original Adwaita theme? I really like this style. Or is there an easy way to do it myself?
P.S.: Can't wait for your GTK3-Theme to be released - hurry up, goddamnit! ;) - Sep 08 2011

One question: Which version of Nautilus do you use in the upper screenshot? It looks like 3.0.x, but unlike mine (3.0.2), it has a separate 'Devices'-Section. - Jul 10 2011

GIMP, for example, has some noticable delay when drawing freely. Same goes for some mouse over events, like in Pidgin. Whenever I hover over a buddy with the cursor, the "shadow" seems to be drawn faster than the actual info popup (if you know that I'm talking about).
Great work non the less! I use your Shell theme already and am really looking forward to use the GTK theme as well (as soon as the glitches mentioned above are solved).
Plz keep on rockin'! :) - Jun 07 2011

I can only imagine what you mean, since I've never created a GTK theme myself. I spent some time heavily modding existing ones, though, and almost went insane over this mess of one huge workaround which GTK2 has become. ^^
Thats why I'm so incredibly thankful for the configuration tool Orta comes with!
>>Do you like the new expanders btw?
Love'em! Haven't decided yet, but I think I'll keep it "Simple". :) - Dec 18 2010

I just received the recent update (1.2) via PPA and I am really glad to see that you managed to fix the panel app "button" glitch! Just nitpicking, but having the Show Desktop app higher than my other Faenza-Icons really bugged me. ;)
Seriously, fantastic job you're doing on this theme - keep the good work coming! :D - Dec 18 2010

So my NEW QUESTION is: How can I alter the shape_pos of the rectangles vertically? - Sep 26 2010

Conky by helmuthdu 931 comments
Almost, that is, because there still is one tiny flaw in it. Thing is:
In conkyCairo.lua, editing the 'height' variable for the round_rectangle does what it is supposed to (thus, changing the height of the rectangle shapes). Editing width, however, does not seem to have any effect at all. This kind of sucks, 'cause I need at least one wider rectangle background for my top 5 processes. Otherwise, the names overlap the values (like shown in this screenshot: http://www.abload.de/img/conky5dks.jpg).

I just tried to adjust the conkyCairo.lua to my personal needs (mostly colourwise) and am bit stuck now. Maybe you can help me out.
Thing is: It seems like the background 'shapes' are somehow rendered in front of the ring meters, so setting the bgc to a darker colour (in the 'if shapes == "on" then' section) results in a pretty dark 'overlay' for the ring meters, even if they are set to a bright colour (e.g. 0xffffff and bga 1).
So, any tips on how to put the ring meters in front of the background? - Sep 18 2010

But, just for cohesion sake, how about a Magog based theme for Pidgin?
Shure would be awesome! :D - Mar 15 2010
One thing though: Using New Wave with Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 (Karmic Version), the Menu Bar keeps its black font color on the rather darkish background and is therefore hard to read.
Any suggestions how to change that? - Feb 27 2010

Instead, I get this Error-Log:
