Hmmm. Good question. Should'nt be because it is pulling it directly from system time. The only thing I can think of, is depending on the time installed, because it refreshes every minute, it might have been caught just about a minute back. You may want to open up the .theme file, and on the top, change the interval to 15000 and see if that helps. Warning though, with Karamba its in milliseconds. 1000 milliseconds=1 second, 60000 milliseconds=60 seconds. At 15000, it will refresh every 15 seconds. The lower the interval, though, the harder it is on the CPU. But you will probably not even notice because the refresh is still pretty high.

Experiment a bit and let me know. I'm curious as I don't even use my tray clock....I never noticed it. Might be good to know :) If that helps, and I verify it. I will make the changes :).

Thanks for the input

You can double check the .theme file by right-clicking on the clock >> Edit >> Edit theme. The last entry on the very top line should be ONTOP=false.

The desktop icons, with the exception of k3b and Firefox are "Steel" icons by Doches. The Icons on KRoller are "Umicons" originally by Mattahan, converted to KDE by Norbalin. - Mar 18 2004
Sorry about that, I upped the fixed version. It was 3:00 am when I put the finishing touches on it and upped it. The version I had tested on my system was correct...but I must have forgotten to fix the one I was upping..ooops :)

Very nice.....your wall is cool too. Reminds me of H.R. Geiger work. The only comment I have is that on a dark background it is very hard to distinguish anything. For users who are comfortable and and know how to edit the theme files and have a bit of GIMP experience this wouldn't be much of a problem to tweak all the colors to make it useable with a dark background. It's the users who are hesitant on doing that which may have a problem. Maybe including a config and art for a "light" version would make it more useable for everyone. Just a thought :). Otherwise very cool.... :)

Also....Matti-the Liquid Weather guru, deserves some credit also :) His lcd clock is what I based my idea off graphics, some file tweaking and a tiny bit more functionality is what I added. Just thought I'd point out where other credit was due :)

This is great....just got the update. The original Liquid Weather Plus was the first Karamba or SuperK theme I used....very handy :). Think I'm gonna make some cool chrome backgrounds for it if ya don't mind.

Glad you like it :) As far as the theme.rc....I don't personally use Ksplash, so I'm really not familiar with how it works....but I'll give it a shot :)

btw....I just made a matching wallpaper also.
