This doesn't suit me, as I want it to have portrait orientation and to be much narrower than it is now.
For this to work, you'll need to change the code to wrap any overlapping text around to the next line.
This has already been done in the default 'News' applet, so you can probably just copy the code from there.
Are you happy to implement those two features: unrestricted widget size/aspect and text wrap-around? - Oct 12 2011

When I re-login to KDE, two major bugs become evident:
* The floating display enlarges the information to fill up the whole desktop;
* The docked display shrinks the information to a tiny size that I can't read.
This means I have to remove and re-add each yaWP instance every time I login, whether they're floating or docked. Please fix these bugs relatively soon.
I'd like to add that I'm not a fan of the new 'minimal' information display that the floating instance offers. I dislike being forced to hover my mouse over it in order to see the details. Please at least include a check-box in the 'Settings' dialog that allows the user to ditch the tooltip method and show all information directly on the floating instance, just like in pre-v0.2 releases.
Send me an email if you'd like me to provide further information or to run some tests. - Mar 06 2009

I disagree that the other weather plasmoids are as good and I was wondering who I'd need to root in order to get a decent one coded. Fortunately, that won't be necessary as I found yaWP earlier and it works nicely with KDE v4.2. - Jan 31 2009

I hope you keep developing it further, perhaps making it more like the Smart Package Manager GUI. - Sep 05 2007

I'm also glad you did it in Qt. Write support will be great and perhaps also doll up the GUI when time permits. - Jun 14 2007
Once you're sure that all of the prerequisites are installed, running "Quamachi.pyw" should work. Keep in mind that it begins with a capital Q, and Linux is case sensitive!
If you run into any problems, feel free to send me an email. You can retrieve my email address from the "Doc/AUTHORS.txt" file. - May 20 2007
Quamachi should run decently after you've installed, configured and tested Hamachi. You can get Hamachi here: http://www.hamachi.cc/download/list.php
The installation instructions for Quamachi are in the "Doc/INSTALL.txt" file. If there are any troubles, send me an email. - Mar 23 2007
I guess I use Amarok differently. I don't try to rearrange tracks so it hardly ever crashes on me.
If you need to kill a process without using the keyboard, I highly recommend 'KPS'. It's available here on KDE-Apps.
You could always try Rhythmbox, but I prefer Amarok. Kaffeine is also looking pretty good these days.
IMO, Amarok is one of the best things since sliced bread. - Sep 14 2006

The GZipped archive didn't extract correctly using Ark. Maybe the Arkollon files weren't extracted.
Can you try to get it working on FC5? TorK looks really good from the screenshots. - May 27 2006

Security by Abdel-Mujib 25 comments
Thanks for writing a much-needed accessory.
The only little issue was overcome by:
chmod -R 755 /usr/local/share/keepass
In future releases, will you be including an "Export to KDE Wallet" or an "Export to XML (KDE Wallet Importable)" option? Or would this compromise security? - Sep 12 2005
