Often with podcasts, they are recorded just too quietly, so that background noise from the environment drowns out my headphones, even if I set the volume to maximum.
Apart from that, a normalisation step would ensure that all tracks are more or less of equal volume on the mobile device. - Aug 12 2009
If you take a look at the first image, kbfxtheme1.jpg. The menu looks normal. If you compare it with the second one, you will see that I have scrolled down in the menu. As you can see the "System" entry pulls the bottom part of the menu border with it for some reason.
I'm guessing thats not supposed to happen.

Here are two screenshots which demonstrate this slight glitch which I have in KBFX. This doesnt happen with the default themes from KBFX. I haven't really tried any other ones yet.
However I can confirm that this glitch shows up on both my desktop and my laptop.
I use Gentoo by the way.

I know this has been requested before:
Printing of labels directly on Printable DVD-R or CD-R if the Printer supports it. I just wanted to give you some pointers.
I'm not sure if all CD-capable Printers do this, but I think that the printer automatically does not print beyond the defined area of the disc, at least when its in CD-Print mode.
Thats at least the way it is on my Canon Pixma IP4000. (I use the proprietary Turboprint driver by the way)
Anyways, I've noticed that I can use pretty much anything to print CD labels even Gimp. The only real requirement is to have a square image, eg. 1000x1000px and to make sure that Cover design is contained within the Circular boundary of the actual CD. As far as I know the printing driver handles the specifics with CD Label printing.
Anyways. My suggestion would be that you simply implement a simple layout template which is square and has the markings of a CD (with adjustable outer and inner ring) so that you have a visual guide to see where the image would get cut off.
I don't think you have to get funky with the printing mechanism itself.
When I print labels in Gimp, I usually use a pre-existing CD Label image (which I downloaded from somewhere) as a template. Its a bit of a hassle, but it works. I basically load the template image, then make a new layer with 75% opacity so that I can see the boundaries, and then create the label on that new layer. Once Im done I change the layer opacity to 100% and print. Like I said, the actual image file itself is square and can be of any resolution.
If you wanted to implement CD Label printing, I would suggest, simply make a basic option for a CDlabel template and let the printer driver handle the rest. Oh yeah, and a nice function with the template would be to be able to adjust the inner and outer ring. This helps with some Printable Discs where the inner Ring is not printable, or has a different Size than expected. - Sep 12 2008

Could you add the function so that even NFS and SAMBA mount points can be displayed and evalued? - Jul 03 2008

My site is currently offline as in, the actual webpage is not up but instead a joomla framework, but the images are still hosted there and should be available.
Maybe you were unlucky and tried to access them while my Provider had a power outtage.
Please post here if the images are still unavailable. - Sep 13 2007

My bank account was kinda low when the provider tried to deduct their fees for hosting, so the site was offline for a while and therefore some of the links didnt work.
Anyways, everything is back to normal again. :-) - Oct 19 2005

I figure, if Im gonna re-render it, I might as well make it big enough so that all widescreen folks can scale it down to fit. - Sep 24 2005

You could probably just use gimp's clone/stamp tool to remove the text if it bothers you that much. - Sep 16 2005
