Hi,
which is the key-sequence assigned by default to activate kompose'?
Could I change it? If so, how?

Hi,
where could I set the background pixmap?
In my options in " baghira" section of the control center I cannot do it.

I'm using a gentoo, I haven't used the ebuild system but only a compile from scratch...

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by netfranz 43 comments

After compiling skippy-050.tar.bz2
I got this error:

X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
Major opcode of failed request: 33 (X_GrabKey)
Serial number of failed request: 92
Current serial number in output stream: 92

---------
I created a .skippyrc file with [general] and the F11-key association.

Any idea?

Baghira + Baghira-windeco is very pretty.
The only think i request is a "BRUSHED METAL" style for windows....
In this way the windeco looks similar to the windows.

KXDocker with REAL Transparency

KXDocker by stefano 154 comments

I use kxdocker 0.11 instead of kicker.
For me it's ok, the only problem is that it's too memory-consuming.
After load it eats 37MB of RAM... I don't know how to reduce the amount of memory needed from this software. - Apr 07 2004

Hi, I was using osxbar with superkaramba... but I had problems with "redhat" python...
This port in C++ is a great idea!
The zoom is very smooth, I experienced problems only if my desktop background is a "solid color", in this case I have icons-shading.

I have also two proposals:

1. to put an "auto hide" feature like the original kicker (so I could use all the screen resolution when I need it...)
2. to create (in the future) something like a "wizard" to add new icons and launchers on the bar (like kicker) or a beautiful drag & drop.

With this two feautres kxdocker could replace the kicker without problems!!!

A very great Work! Compliments! - Mar 21 2004

I'm Working with Redhat 9.0.
Kde 3.2b2 (kernel 2.6).

The configure --prefix=/usr isn't working for me and the error regards libz (it tells me that I have an outdated version of Xfree (of perhaps of zlib)).

I'm using XFree 4.3.0 (bundled with Redhat 9.0) and zlib-1.2.0.7-2.i386 getted from rpmfind.net.

Any Idea? The screenshots are beatyful... I wanna this deco.

New MacOSX Bar

Karamba & Superkaramba by virusbye 30 comments

Hi,
I've used many Karamba "bars" OSX, KROLLER... but none of these have a "autohide" feature.

In this way we can have a "on-top" bar that is visible only when the mouse-pointer is over it.

Bye
