No doubt whoever did it lives a sad an unfulfilled life anyway, so don't feel too bad :) I hope all the data is recovered soon. - Sep 14 2006

If there isn't, I'd suggest that the title bar have a vertical gradient going from light to the current dark for inactive windows - May 20 2006

I rated this down because this isn't really any kind of site content, it's just a complaint (which would probably be better aimed at site admins?) - May 13 2006

New bugs though - The button text highlight in dialogues is black now instead of white, and the margin in gedit no longer shows up (which is pretty critical for me, I need it for coding :))
Also, now that I try it with the grey scroll-bars, I kind of missed the black ones - I think I preferred with black on the whole, but it's all an issue of taste - maybe the theme could come with instructions on how to pick either style?
Once again, thanks for making a great theme, it's nice to see something different after all the Clearlooks colour variations :) - Feb 13 2006
I still get the white text highlight in dialogues on check boxes/radio buttons - See the run dialogue for an example, or Epiphany
Still, looking good and thanks for the thanks :) - Feb 13 2006
Just noticed another bug too - "Toolbar/toolbutton-prelight.png" is missing, so when you mouse-over buttons in toolbars, nothing happens (normally, they appear like highlighted buttons). - Feb 13 2006
But unfortunately, a few prominent bugs I've come across:
- When highlighting radio buttons or check buttons in a dialogue, the associated text becomes white (and thus invisible) - The text colour should probably stay black here
- Arrows in table row headers and menus are black when they get highlighted (and thus invisible) - It would be nice if arrows became white in these situations
- Default buttons are very slightly larger than normal buttons, but otherwise no more prominent - A black outline or something, similar to other themes (e.g. Clearlooks) would be nice here
And as a preference, I think the scrollbar sliders would look better if they were the same colour as buttons, but became black when highligted/activated - As they are, I find them a little distracting.
Great theme though, I've voted good and am using it now :) - Feb 13 2006

I think this mock-up is great - I'm not too hot on all the ideas, but I do especially like the idea of making the menu-bar not take up any more room than it needs to.
Keep up the good work, perhaps some of the devs on planet.gnome.org might be interested in this? - Nov 21 2005

But, (and there always is, isn't there? :p) I have to say I'm sticking with 0.1 - Although I don't mind that the theme has been lightened in the later versions, I very much dislike the changes to the scrollbar - I liked them being dark as they were in 0.1. Am I the only one with this opinion? - Jan 18 2005

The only complaints I can level at it are either in the To-do list, or are inherent to SK itself. Well done :) - Sep 10 2003

Also, as well as making the clock and pager configurable, it would be nice to replace the pager code with the KPager code or Kicker Pager code (I'd have thought the latter would be easier to integrate)...
These are the main reasons that I can't use this - the poor pager and lack of task-related features makes it impractical compared to the kicker.
Otherwise, great work :) - Aug 17 2003

/usr/share/themes/Galaxy/gtk/gtkrc
/usr/share/themes/Galaxy/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
Everything will work fine after that, but you wont be able to use the Galaxy theme - alternatively, you could rename the directory & retain usage of the Galaxy theme (I think)
It's to do with the variables GTK_RC_PATHS and GTK2_RC_PATHS getting set to stupid values that include the Galaxy gtkrc files on KDE start-up... No idea why & no idea (yet) how to stop it from doing so... - Jun 26 2003

There are many more errors after this, but I think they're just knock-on errors sorta thing... I'd look into it, but I can't be arsed :p Does this plug-in need the latest KDE or something? (I'm running 3.1.0) - Jun 18 2003

I did originally have a DynBar style smooth-zoom, but along with the task-bar, it seemed that SuperKaramba couldn't handle it... If you know a little python, it's not too hard to edit my code and put the DynBar style back in, but I wouldn't bother...
As for bugs, what bugs are there? I'll fix any that I can :) - Jun 15 2003
