I really like this theme. Will you port it to GTK 3.0? Would be nice. - May 05 2011

Thanks for the help. With murrine-git it's working.

Indeed one of most beautiful themes I've seen. Only the gray in the window background and the menus could be a shade lighter for my taste. And some more colors like e.g. orange, wine-red or the like would be nice. :-) - Jun 24 2010

Now that I got it installed, I've got the problem that the theme doesn't work in Xfce.

The file permissions are set correctly and I've installed gtk-engine-equinox 1.20, gtk-engine-murrine 0.90.3 and gtk-engine-pixbuf 0.1.0. But every theme look like the ugly Windows 95. Of course I also restarted X.

Am I missing something or doesn't it work with Xfce? - Jun 23 2010

With 7z x (that really makes sense, two parameters for extraction) and with file-roller it can be extracted, but only with these.

With squeeze the archive can't be opened and xarchive shows two files (.7z and 9) both with 0 byte and the first one with Time="Time" and Date="Date" and the second one with Time="e".

Thanks for the help, anyway. - Jun 23 2010

I have p7zip 9.04 installed and extract it with `7z e <archive name>`.
Probably this issue is why this archive is so extremely small compared to the other archive formats due to missing file informations. ;-) - Jun 23 2010

The downloaded 7z archive can't be extracted correctly. Every file is extracted into the directory where the archive is saved, 7z asks if several files shall be overwritten and the extracted Zuki* directories are empty. So you should rebuild the archive and probably use one of the more common archive formats .tar.gz, .tar.bz2 or .tar.xz instead of 7z. - Jun 23 2010

It seems to be an xorg bug:

I really like this theme and it's my default theme.

Unfortunately after the latest update of xorg-server to version 1.7.1.901 in Arch Linux Xorg always crashes when a program is started. It's not possible to run any software anymore.

After searching a lot I found out that it was caused by the Xfce Theme Elegant Brit (with both versions made by arialis111 and fmrbpensador).

It was nice if you could fix this theme so that it works with the new version of Xorg. - Nov 10 2009

I've built a PKGBUILD for Arch Linux.
It can be found here: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=15140 - Feb 09 2008

You don't need to change the source. I managed it also on Arch Linux to get it compiled with automake instead of unsermake. - Feb 09 2008

It's a year ago but I have to come back to this issue.

I'm just trying to build a PKGBUILD for Arch Linux but unsermake is known to be broken, is not part of KDE 3.5.* and isn't officially available on Arch Linux as well as on other Distributions like e.g. Gentoo.

Would you, please, change your sources so that keurocalc 0.9.7 can be compiled without unsermake?

Or can you give me a patch which eliminates the unsermake dependencies in your source package?

Just setting UNSERMAKE="no" does help on Gentoo but not on Arch Linux and the sources for keurocalc 0.9.4 aren't available for download anymore. - Feb 08 2008

Hi!

Since KEuroCalc 0.9.5 make fails on Gentoo with this error message:

# make
WARNING: use unsermake instead of make or use a wrapper script, e.g. makeobj!!!
unsermake all
make: unsermake: Command not found
make: *** [all] Error 127

This error appears even if unsermake is installed and UNSERMAKE="/usr/kde/unsermake/unsermake" is set as it is told by the unsermake ebuild. - Mar 28 2006

Could you, please, fix the Gentoo download link for version 1.1.
Unfortunately it gives a 404. - Mar 28 2006

Would be cool if it could be downloaded.

Liquid Weather ++

Karamba & Superkaramba by Matti 1797 comments

Version 3.2.1 works fine again. :-)

I guess it's a bit slower than the previous versions - maybe because of debug mode as mentioned in the change log - but that's ok. - Dec 03 2004
Liquid Weather ++

Karamba & Superkaramba by Matti 1797 comments

Hi,

since updating Superkaramba to 0.35 and Liqiud Weather ++ to 3.2 I have a problem.

When logging into KDE Liquid Weather doesn't show the weather informations anymore but only shows the picture which says:

Liquid
Weather
++
downloading weather data...
please be patient

It only shows the weather data again after going online and reloading the theme.
Usually when I'm logging into KDE I'm offline.

This should be fixed and changed to the behaviour of Liquid Weather ++ 3.1.4 with Superkaramba 0.34.
These versions showed the last weather information when I logged into KDE. - Dec 01 2004

When I click on the download link I get a site something.prohosting.com also with a download link. When I click on that link the browser seems to load something but I'm still getting the same site but no file.
When I click on that download link with the right mouse button and click on "Save link under..." (however it's called in the English browser versions) I get a file with the right filename but it's not a valid archive.

Could you, please, give us a direct download link? - May 20 2004
