DBO: Yes I have been busy, but have been working on Glory as time allows. The theme is still active and will be receiving an update in the near future. As for helping maintain the them, I'm open to suggestions (and regarding the license thing. I know some people have this aversion to closed licensing, but as I've discussed with others, there is a reason that the licensing is "currently" closed, but it will be moved to a more open license in the future). If you want to discuss helping out or whatnot, I can be found in the usual haunts on irc :P
skystar2: The issue is known to me, just haven't had much time to get on to fixing it, but will solve the issue after Glory gets its overhaul to the new syntax :) - Oct 22 2007

As to the issue with the warnings, there have been some changes done to the gtk theme spec. I'm installing gusty in about an hour and then I'll get on bringing the theme up to snuff again :)
Just been busy as of late, but Glory is still in active development. I'll get on an update asap :D - Oct 22 2007

It's Segoe UI (the vista font) 10pt, 75 dpi, full subpixel rendering with the latest patches against cairo and freetype :)

Once I release the pixmap version and get some feedback, however, it will make the transition to an engine :) - May 16 2007

I just returned from a bit of a net free hiatus, but I'll be working on an update this weekend, and its a rather substantial one as well.
As for missing parts and bugs, some of those are fixable, some are flaws in the pixbuf engine, but I'll try to get some of those corrected in the next build. I wont be bothering to fix them all though, as the theme is just a 'live mockup' if you will for an engine.
oh, and the font in the screenshots is Segoi UI... you know, the <shudder> VISTA </shudder> font. ;) - May 03 2007

If you dont have pixbuf installed, gtk will pick up the colors but will fallback to the default widgets. hence the problem you are experiencing. - Feb 04 2007

I'll be releasing a small update in a few minutes. It's basically the same but with a few fixes, but will likely be the last release of MorningGlory in its current incarnation.
Due to some rather annoying gtk/pixbuf bugs, I'm currently working on an artistic redesign of the theme and an overhaul of the gtkrc... the general feel will be the same, but will have a more "tangoish" palette shift and some changes to widget handling etc. The current (unreleased) dev state looks (thus far) like its fixed a few common app to app consistency issues.. hopefully the "new and improved" MorningGlory will have a beta in a day or two ;)
Anyway.. back to getting the preview update packed - Jan 28 2007

Besides, I cant really place the blame on you for anything... as it seems, during my recently having been AWOL, someone decided it was 'ok' to GPL my work. So I've got a lot to try to straighten out over the next little bit. :)
But anyway, permission granted, it's actually a fairly good mod, but WAYYY to blue :P
Best Regards,
DM

With your permission, I'll port this over to CGWD (compiz)
Look forward to seeing more ;) - Aug 05 2006
find the object who's info lists it as the menu (object_type menu-object), check the box that says to use-custom-icon, and right-click > edit the custom_icon key.. enter the path tho the icon image (in this example: /home/(username)/.icons/distributor-logo.png
it should give you the proper scale button image that way - Jun 06 2006

Though this is relatively clean...it appears to be a little to candy coated...this is GNOME after all...
But still, all in all a great concept. - Nov 18 2005

Plus, though this is art, and there is nothing wrong with nudity...the general public may take offence to it being so openly displayed...

I just think it would be more balanced if it was of smaller size. In reference to the 'lighter colors', I was thinking along the lines of having the text and ternary better match the palette used in rest of the image. (It would make the ubuntu name stand out a bit more)
All in all, it is a very nice image as is. - Aug 31 2005

This set is going to be awesome. NuoveXT kicks butt, Vista-Inspirate will kick even more butt.
I especially like the action buttons...
Only suggestion I would make is doing something a little different with the icon for home. Even though I have no problem with Windows inspired icon themes, that one png is nearly an exact clone of it's Windows counterpart. - Aug 28 2005

One suggestion:
Would it be possible to add a menu entry for the currently focused app?
For example: if Konqueror is in focus, the menu would read- "Programs" "Konqueror" "Actions" "Desktop", with the "Konqueror" entry displaying the appropriate menu entries.
If it is possible, it would greatly improve desktop integration by combining your desktop menu with the existing "osx-like" option for desktop behavior. - Apr 03 2005
