Yes, this would be a very nice feature, i would appreciate it, too -- combine running tasks with launchers, like in Avant Window Navigator - Apr 30 2009

The theme now supports skins - the description how to modify the default skin is above - so please if anybody wants to change anything at the design, then change it and send me the new skin. I will then upload it here... Thanks :) - Nov 27 2005

What do u think by "synchronizing". Importing the todos from Kontact? That could be possible... please post here where the todos from Kontact are stored and I'll think about it... - Nov 27 2005

Well, my screen is not much larger (1280x800). I am currently working on the possibility to change skins (creating a new skin will be just changing a few images and editing one config file). I hope that after this is done people will create their own skins and post them here :) - Nov 27 2005

There are two ways how to run a superkaramba theme:

1. you have the myTheme.theme and myTheme.py file in one directory and if you want to run it, choose "open local theme" in superkaramba app and open the .theme file

2. the .skz file > this is just a zipped version of the previous with an additional maindata.xml file.

Try read
http://netdragon.sourceforge.net/sinfo.html
for information how to create or modify a theme, and here:
http://netdragon.sourceforge.net/release_notes_0_37.html
is the info about the .skz file format

If you want to modify any theme, just unzip the whole .skz file, modify the content and open the .theme file in superkaramba. You can then re-make the .skz package by zipping the content of your file. Or you can directly update the files in the .skz using for example mc. - Nov 25 2005

The .skz is just a zipped file :)
If you make any changes, please let me know... - Nov 24 2005

Well I think that the whole design should be improved, but I cant do it, I dont have skills for it :( If somebody can make a nice design (just one .png image would be enough), please mail the file to me and I will implement it to this theme.

I dont think that hiding the labels is a good idea, because I have to SEE what I have to do, otherwise I wont do it :(

Countdown to a given date is a good idea, the only problem is that now you can write ANYTHING to the date (like "today", "this month", etc.). I dont know how to countdown to date "this month" :) One way could be entering day, month and year, but I think that this would make the insertion of new task too complicated. I will think of it... - Nov 24 2005

Well, thats a good idea. The problem is that I dont know how to programme things like that (using C for Linux/KDE). I prefer Java :)

Even if I knew C and Linux well, I have no idea how to dock this thing to the panel. If you find any program of that sort, please let me know... - Nov 24 2005

Whoops, I dont know what exactly is wrong, at my computer it is OK.

Please send me (or post here) exact description WHAT is not working. The usage is:
1. Use the blue arrows to show the panel with new task form
2. Fill in the new task form
3. Click (or doubleclick if your widget is in "locked position" mode) the green tick sign. New task will be added and the panel will hide

Maybe the widget fails to write to a file (it stores the TODOs in your home directory in file named "TooDoo_List.txt"). Try to run superkaramba from a console and watch the output... then look for the file TooDoo_list.txt - Nov 24 2005
