Hi, I'm sorry if I don't understand you.

The wallpaper you see in the preview is already included into the tar file.

Just download and extract. - May 20 2010

Hi, It looks great!!
I downloaded and put the tar.gz into my .fluxbox/styles but it doesn't look like your screenshoot (no borders, no icons at titlebar)
I have Fluxbox 1.1.1... Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Changing Wallpapers Dynamically

Various Gnome Stuff by dragonauta 8 comments

It's true... but this works for Gnome...
If you don't have Fedora 8 you can use this script.

(Also I made another script for KDE, look and kde-look.org)
thanks for you comment - Apr 22 2008

Added a detailed README file, please download again and read the instructions

about cron -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cron#crontab_syntax

Also the README contains instruction about setting crontab, and how the line should to be (you should modify the command parameter according where you install the script)

If you can't install properly, please send me a message.
Thanks!! - Apr 18 2008

Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
I had 6 pictures from Las Vegas, every frame at different hour, so my desktop just turns on with Vegas' lights.

Also at my job I have the same brown pic you have, but I changed the colour, so It's turns from brown to dark blue - Apr 17 2008

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by hoppimike 15 comments

sorry, old doc.
I've removed the script from init.d.
It won't start like that.

It must start when you login, add a link to ~/.kde/Autostart - Mar 26 2008
KDE time-affected/seasonal backgrounds

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by hoppimike 15 comments

Like inckie, I use this little script at my job:

#!/bin/bash
HORA=$(date +%H)
MANANA="/pictures/wpmanana.jpg"
DIA="/pictures/wpdia.jpg"
NOCHE="/pictures/wptarde.jpg"

if [[ "$HORA" -eq "9" || "$HORA" -lt "11" ]]; then
dcop kdesktop KBackgroundIface setWallpaper "$MANANA" 6
elif [[ "$HORA" -ge "11" && "$HORA" -lt "14" ]]; then
dcop kdesktop KBackgroundIface setWallpaper "$DIA" 6
elif [[ "$HORA" -ge "14" && "$HORA" -lt "19" ]]; then
dcop kdesktop KBackgroundIface setWallpaper "$NOCHE" 6
fi

Because I work between 9 and 18:30, this script changes my wallpaper three times.
It's included at /etc/init.d so it will start when I boot my system, and it's added into crontab:

0 11,14 * * * /pictures/changewp

so it will run at 11 and 14 o'clock changing the wallpaper.
