I think it's infinitely worth it for automation's sake; but we must be careful not to run into the same dependancy gridlock that rpm can run into. - Jul 27 2003

Cursors by Vyse 16 comments

Hello, this certainly applies to all cursor sets I've tried so far; not to this one in particular, some X window seg faults either immediately upon execution or sometime after, anyone has ran into this?

This one too, and some other sets were good as well, I really looking forward to use them. - Jul 22 2003

You can see both communist and capitalist idea within the Linux community; but some would say one way while the others would argue this such such aspect is another economic idea...

So is M$, but ponder it amongst yourselves.

I don't think there are 'pure' nations following one ideology or the other; though I do believe Socialism and Democracy can work well together. - Jul 12 2003

the sky and ice sheet, they are rather distracting on their own right from those cute penguins.

I want a functional top and bottom not just a fake screenshot...

but the background actual wallpaper looks very good, why don't you post it or having the actual author post it? - Jun 13 2003
MDK Wallpaper

I am running Mandrake, my thinking is that it is probably one of the better organized distro around (used to think Slackware is good... but that's different story); I have no doubt Gentoo people would rank Gentoo as the best, Debian for Debian, so on so forth.

but this wallpaper is very simple and insulting to think I would use it just because I felt Mandrake is good, I have serious doubt that even Mandrake people would use it themselves. - Jun 13 2003

forgot to clarify, the screen of my pre-LCD days are 800x600 physical res on a 1024x768 virtual res - Jun 10 2003

Icon Sub-Sets by Doches 26 comments

800x600? tried to make a virtual size of 1024x768 or even bigger?

that was possible with X in a built-in way, though M$ would make you think otherwise.

it was good since I used a 15' before getting LCD, X video subsystem had never been disrupted by some crashing programs so I could always move my mouse and viewport around.

this known feature was somehow covered up by today's 'clever'??? GUI installers. - Jun 10 2003

yeah... the old dotNet from the distro cd is getting tiresome.

A slightly update like urs is welcomed, and i echo the OSX wannabe comments; some of them is really ghastly tiresome - Jun 10 2003

full theme, when will be available? i did not see copland but this set looks Be

not exactly criticism, Be is tiresome looking, but OS X got it right

been looking for this kind of theme on KDE3

but never found that - all can be found is MacOSX wanna bes, and they look not quite so beautiful as on an actual Mac, even that one is eMac and I'm using LCD screen
one of my favourite theme would be Sun's Motif, but this is not bad either

so port it, or someone actually got some twisted patch for it compile in qt3? - Dec 01 2002

, everything else look quite in order

and even an active window should not bubble

chance to fix it - Dec 01 2002

it seems to be more appropriate that M$ is the borg, because, well, it's just that way; the way Windoze dominates on nothing but an inertia of user-base.

FB has no network ability?!? then that thing after completion, is a total crap.

so... whoever is doing FB developement... better add that to your TODO or the end result of your coding would be a lemon like a certain high-cost rempant OS. - Jul 04 2002
