You have to click on "save page", it shows up as the graphic then. - Feb 05 2007
Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob. How do you run it?
Normally a .sh script just shows a dialog asking if you want to run it.
I tried it with the terminal but it doesn't work. - Dec 11 2006

Come on... we shouldn't keep talking about the political meaning. We're here for the Art, and thatk is really well done. - Nov 23 2006

this is mainly about the art so maybe we should talk about that.

As for the political idea behind it, I can safely assume that the opinions differ greatly.

And as it is virtually impossible to take into account every fact, it is virtually impossible to have an unbiased opinion, apart from one's own.
So, I am against "liberating" people the US way. But can hardly say that about other people. - Nov 21 2006

Yeah you're right. Sorry it is a Wallpaper. But you *could* use it as a Splashscreen. - Nov 17 2006

It depends on which icon theme you're using at the moment.

You go in to the icon folder, that's either /home/USERNAME/.icons or /usr/share/icons
You go to the icon theme you want the button displayed with and replace the start-here.svg with it.

note that your icon theme may be inheriting some other icon theme like Tango, you have to replace the start-here.svg in that icon theme if that is the case.
There are also several icons linked to the start-here.svg (in my case) and they will change too if start-here.svg is altered.
Then you have to add a main menu to your panel. Login again and the start icon should be displayed. - Nov 17 2006

I think that's a Splash screen. Don't you think? It'd be a bit small for a Wallpaper. :-) - Nov 16 2006

Great Style...

But I did find one problem: The round checkboxes are black when you select them, meaning you can't see what you've got checked. - Nov 12 2006

In your version (I've got the same probably) the Icons directory is under /usr/share/icons

If you copy the folder with the icon set into there and then start the icon section of the system settings the icon theme automatically apears. - Sep 29 2006
