I really like this a lot! I've been looking for a way to make the backgound of each button on the taskbar transparent. This is an awesome applet!

Thank you! - Nov 21 2005

I never would have guessed that you hadn't made a desktop image before. Very well done!

Thank you. - Nov 20 2005

I'd love a tux version. I'd also like a Kubuntu version in Blue, if you'd be so good.

BTW, These are excellent! Thanks a lot! - Nov 16 2005

Just thought this was funny. Once I got the osinfo.sh script to work, the value returned is "testing/unstable".

That's hilarious. - Nov 14 2005
So sorry, I spoke too soon. lm-sensors is now working on my box, but the values for the temperature read-outs are way off. temp2 and temp3 both soww 0.0C and temp1 shows -1C. I wish. Most people in the how-to thread for my distro said this could be fixed by reordering the order the modules are loaded in the /etc/modules file. I've tried every order, and I still get these same values. Strange. What order are you loading the modules, here's my order:
w83627hf
eeprom
i2c-nforce2
i2c-isa
All the temp sensors work in the BIOS.

About the distro name, I'm slapping my head now. Of course! hehe
Thanks again! - Nov 14 2005
This is my favorite karamba monitor so far. I like minimal monitors that aren't all contained in a single window. I like how yours is broken into multiple frames. When will you release one with no audio player manipulation frame? Also, I am having the same sensor problem as mentioned before. I have lm-sensors installed, and I ran
$ sudo sensors-detect
and it seemed to detect about 4 sensors, but then when I run
$ sensors
all I get is
"no sensors detected."
any advice?

Also, on a smaller note, it doesn't detect my distro.

I'm running Kubuntu Breezy 5.10 with KDE 3.4.3.

Thanks so much for this awesome monitor! - Nov 13 2005
