Windeco is my new Emerald theme, "Powder Reprise".
You can find it here:

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Powder+Reprise+for+Emerald?content=58021

For the icons theme, it's a little variation that I made on the iconset "Snowish 1.3".
You can find the original Snowish set here:

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/SnowIsh?content=42905

but soon I'll upload my "modified" set (I've added some directory icons for example, plus other icons to make the set still more complete than the original).
Stay tuned ;) - May 11 2007

Ah, for the /usr/sbin path:
you could have made a symlink to hddtemp into a user-standard path instead of modifying the plugin code ;)

For libsensors, i must check if it can be used within Python. - May 10 2007
I'll keep in mind these suggestions for the next plugin release.

Thanks for your support :) - May 07 2007
Please take a look at the installation instruction on this page... ;) - Apr 10 2007
The problem is different: you don't have the right permissions on the device, not on hddtemp (it runs fine).
If you have a Scsi or Sata device, as explained in the configuration dialog, you must set /dev/sda instead of /dev/hda.
If your HD device is /dev/hda, you must set the right permissions, but in this case it's strange, because you can actually use your hard disk as normal user :)
Check the hard disk setup in the plugin configuration dialog, and priorly check the permissions on the device, it isn't a hhdtemp or a plugin problem. - Mar 03 2007
I've forgot:

If not, you can safely give user privileges to hddtemp program...
But onestly it's strange that hddtemp doesn't have user privileges... - Mar 03 2007

No, absolutely.
On all systems I've tested, hddtemp works as normal user.
Has hddtemp root privileges on your system? Doesn't the plugin acquire hd temp (saying "Temperature not available")?

If you launch
hddtemp /dev/yourdvicename
in a console as normal user, and you see temp values, then the plugin will work correctly on hd temp. - Mar 03 2007
Now I note the default limited tree level for replies... I repost:

Great, but it wasn't necessary to edit .py file and .rc file manually :) Simply you could have typed the name of the sensor ("temp" in your case) In the plugin configuration dialog. :D

Many thanks for you appreciation, and i think a can improve this plugin soon.

It sounds strange... Maybe the presence of parenthesys ()?
However, can you post the result of "sensors" command (a screenshot is good too)?

Thanks :)

Sorry but I don't know what "flashcards" are. I've googled around and now I've an idea of what this thing is, but I absolutely ignore a flashcard file format, and i don't know the common operations that a flashcard user want (onestly this is the first time I hear about flashcards).
Maybe if you can tell me something more (any internet link for example)...

I've just upgraded to Basket 1.0.1 form opensuse 10.2 (Guru) repository, but the awful bug, that makes Kontact crash on statup when Basket isn't running, is still present.

There's a feedback on bugs.kde.org too:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141299

Nasty bug, please take a look.

Keep up the goot work for this great app! - Mar 19 2007
Great app, but there is a big problem with Kontact integration.
After installing Basket, Kontact crashes when launching, if basket isn't running (if basket is running, all is ok).
At least with openSuse 10.2 (installed with rpm on the repositories).
Please check this serious bug, I've to delete libkontact_basket from /opt/kde3/libs/kde to workaround this bug.
Ah, obviously there is a feedbak on bugs.kde.org for this bug

Keep up the good work! - Mar 03 2007

You must compile against Qt 3.x, but you're using Qt 4 headers.
Make sure to install qt3-devel package (or something similar, depending on you distro).
If you have both installed (libraries and devel packages of qt 3 and qt 4) and the compiler switches automatically to qt4, tell "configure" to link against qt3 with the --with-qt-dir option (or --with-qt-include option). - Jan 19 2007

Thank you for your great work!
I really needed this...
Just one reqest: can you add the possibility to change the layout?
In fact, the desktops are always placed horizontally, and on a large panel (my panel height is 52 pixels), they occupy a large amount of space!
It would be great to set up, for example, 2 desktops per row (like default Kpager does), so with 4 desktops/viewports we can have 2 rows, and in each row 2 desktop (for example...)

Keep up the good work. - Oct 29 2006

Hi, I've just added a plugin for Aero AIO 0.9.1 that solve your problem (that was mine too).
With this plugin, you can monitor temperatures through 'lmsensor' instead of /proc/acpi/thermal_zone.

You can find my plugin on:
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=39609

I hope it can be useful for you :)
