sorry but i just don't know how. There is different systems of "splash", karmic use xsplash and lucid use Plymouth. I would like to make some new splash for the plymouth... so if you find the way to make a splash for Plymouth share me the info please. - May 08 2010

supongo que comprendo lo que quieres de animacion, hare algunas pruebas... aunque el tipo de elemento que mencionas girara muy rapido, creo que no se puede "truquear" como con los engranes para engañar al ojo, por lo que los giros seran rapidos, pero deja hago las pruebas :) por cierto ya subiste el splash que decias que ibas a hacer con los engranes? - Nov 19 2009

Claro que si amigo, puedes usarlo, sigue los linemaientos de la licencia creative commons que viene incluida en el paquete y ya :)

Creo que ya se que es lo que pasa, para que funcione bien tienes que poner todas las imagenes del paquete Xsplash-CF-GX en la carperta "xsplash" por que si falta alguna enviara un error.

Hice la prueba borrando una imagen de la carpeta xsplash, luego para probar puse en terminal "sudo xsplash" el resultado fue un error - Nov 18 2009

Revise el paquete de imagenes y si incluye una imagen de 1440x900 (bg_1440x900.jpg).

Si, es verdad, tambien me gustaria que fueran mas lentos, pero la cantidad de frames (50) no lo permite, vere que se puede hacer... ¿alguna idea para aumetar los los frames? ayer estuve probando alargar la imagen a 15000px pero no sirvio - Nov 18 2009
