Praise the Lord! What an amazing application this is. I can hardly remember I've seen a more well-designed application that this, version 0.6. It's very graphical, it's not the ordinary KDE widget style. It's simply outstanding. - Jul 17 2006

Linux is supposed to be free, but because of things like this, it won't be. It is tainting the Linux community. Please keep KDE clean.

If you like this decoration, then just go and buy Vista! Don't use Linux...

But you do can create a look-alike and there's nothing that hinders you to do that.

Of course you love Microsoft. That's why you insist in using their graphics. You really want Linux to be like Windows don't you... (Nothing wrong with that. There's no question that Windows is much better than Linux, in almost every area. But people are so afraid to say it. Yet they want to use their graphics, their interface-designs, their programs...) - Jun 15 2006

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. The Holy Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God. You can't compare ordinary books, religious in content or not, with what God has spoken! Obviously, false religions can never be mixed with "the Way, the Truth and the Life". It's incompatible with the belief in the 100% truth. If the creators of BibleTime would promote false religions, they would bear bad fruit. It's like mixing true science with false science. We, as sons and daughters of God, could never do that.

How can Jesus the Messiah be only a prophet, when it even of John the Baptist is spoken of:

Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Indeed, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet. For this is he of whom it is written:

‘ Behold, I send My messenger before Your face,
Who will prepare Your way before You.’

(Matthew 11:7-10)

Jesus is the Messiah, the Christ, the Son of the Living God, because only He fullfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the promised Messiah! This is the truth!

But of the prophet Mohammed there was no prophecies. No one expected a new prophet at that period. Instead, the Holy Word of God is clear with this, as the Bible provably says:

"For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John." ... "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!" (Matthew 11:13,15)

Except this one, this prophecy, as foretold by the Son Himself: "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.". (Matthew 24:26)

The only thing that can help a man in his sinful condition, is that he believes and becomes a new creature. It is only Jesus who can do that. Man is evil by nature, and even if you may, for example, be able to stop "drink", you will still be bound by other sins (say demons), which you can't help but to do... I talk about that inherited sin-nature which makes us live a life contrary to God's will. In my family, it's only me who believes in Jesus. The other members have lots of problems, and I know very well that it's only Jesus who can set them free, who can deliver them. But once a person is saved, "everything becomes new".

So it's not about "religion", it's about TRUTH. I DID NOT become a Christian, because I suddenly went "religious". No... I have never been religious (except a little perhaps, but not more than any unbeliever is). It was also not until Jesus did take over my life that I even COULD believe, because I had lots of doubts. No person who has had a life-changing experience with Jesus Christ can say: "I just believe!" No, I KNOW, because I even feel the precious presence of the Holy Spirit inside me. So, what I have is the "inward witness", that I belong to Jesus Christ and is a child of God. (Faith do works even when feelings don't.)

An unsaved person have little or no interest in doing the will of God, because he just don't know God!

You did not ask to be born... Good, you seem to have admitted that you have a soul. If you didn't have a soul, you would be as non-living as a potplant, you would have as little consciousness as a robot. You also seem to admit that God made you, let you exist, because you didn't choose to. This tells us that God has created us for a purpose. The soul is eternal. Life without knowing God is death. You can live in the body, and break God's laws all you want, but once your soul is freed from your body, it's judgment time! Sin separates man from God. This is where Heaven and Hell comes in. God wants everyone to be saved, because that's why we were created, to co-exist with HIM. God is holy and righteous. No sin can enter Heaven. Heaven is a "wholy" holy place. This is why a person who has commited any sin, can not enter Heaven. God is also righteous, so He has to judge the lawbreakers. This is the reason why God sent Jesus Christ to the earth, God in human form to pay the penalty for our sins. Through Jesus death and ressurrection, we can be forgiven. When we believe that Jesus took the penalty for our sins, and humbly ask God for forgiveness for our wrongdoings, we will become new creatures. If we repent of our sins, that is!

We will receive the ticket to Heaven.

The "proof" of salvation is the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send us the Holy Spirit (Joh. 15-17), to live in us. When a person is cleansed by the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, He is SO cleansed and made so holy, that God's Holy Spirit can make His abode in the previous sinner. So, we will receive the Holy Spirit as a free gift from God.

For the Bible says... "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ" (Rom 8.)

By this we know that we have eternal life. Through the Holy Spirit we receive power to live the holy and righteous life which we ourselves could never do. When you receive the Holy Spirit your faith will become VERY strong.

God also lends us supernatural gifts of the Spirit (1Cor. 12), such as speaking in tongues, gift of prophecy, discerning of spirits, interpretation of tongues, word of wisdom and knowledge, gifts of healing, and so on. This happens when we become BAPTISED in the Holy Spirit, in a later time (which is an experience separated from the new birth experience).

If you see a website that hosts miracles captured on video you will find proof of this.

See these videos, miracles...

If I had seen this when I did not believe, I would definitely have believed.

There are thousands of belief-systems, but only one is true. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. It's all a matter of truth!

Of course you don't care about God, I DIDN'T care about God either... That's the first step, to confess to God that you are a sinner, and that you don't know God. Jesus came to set sinners FREE!

It is not God that is responsible for the evil on this earth. God made men with free will. So we can choose whether to believe or not, if we want to belong to God, or not. So the evil is all about people turning the back on God.

You speak about "God lacking concern for the human race in totality", which is not true. God "SO LOVED THE WORLD" that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON... So God definitely cares so much that He gave His LIFE in the Lord Jesus for every human being. The Bible says that God is LOVE. (Jesus is not dead but alive.)

The reason that God allows evil is our free will. If God would force us then He would contradict Himself. God encourages everyone to turn away from sins to Him. But again, He won't force anyone. If you want to contribute to a better world, then make your choice and turn to the Lord.

A simple, honest prayer is probably enough...

Rather than God sending people into Hell, which you may think, it's really about the individuals themselves who have chosen to live a life without God. Since they have not been redempted, they simply CANNOT enter into Heaven. God surely loves them, but He can't let them into Heaven, because it is impossible. The good thing with Heaven is, is that every person inside has the same will as God. That is total freedom!
God will seperate the sheep from the goats.

If you are honest and ask God in Jesus Name to show Himself real for you, and you have an open mind, He will surely show Himself real for you in a way so that you can believe. At least I pray it, because he did it for me!

About what you wrote:

Since all people have sinned, no one, not even one, who have not (or will not) be reconciled with God through the Lord Jesus Christ, can enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

God through the prophet makes it very clear that "all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags". There is thus no person who is good. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Rom 3:10-18) All have sinned.

Not even John the Baptist, in all his holiness, was without sin. Of whom it was said by Jesus Himself: "Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (Matt 11:11)

The virgin Mary, also, expressed her need of salvation: "my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:47)

Because of the sin, man has fallen. He is spiritually dead (Gen 2:17). Unless a person is thus born-again, he cannot enter into God's kingdom. (Joh 3:3,5)

The kingdom of Heaven is so holy and so pure, that no sin can enter. God is perfect and can not have fellowship with sin. It condradicts his very nature. Thus, sin is death (spiritual death). Sin separates man from God. If a person die in that condition, he will face eternal separation from God. (But no one has to go there! - "The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart" (Rom 10:8) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (10:9) "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (10:10) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Rom 10:13))

Since man was created to have fellowship with God, his soul was made eternal. Your and mine souls are eternal. It's only our whereabouts that's going to be decided here on earth; Heaven or Hell. I urge you to "choose life that you may live."

All people have different backgrounds. Some people find it more difficult to live a good life than others. Some people are born into criminal families. Some may have inborn disabilities, a tendency to aggressiveness and so on. But some people who are intelligent, eloquent and so on, find it easier to act 'nice' than others... God is not unfair in this respect. Not all people can become popular. But all people can believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.

People are constantly comparing themselves with other people, and this makes them think that they are better than others. But the truth is that they aren't any better! All people are sinners in God's eyes. All our 'good' works are as filthy rags, as previously noted.

I have here a test, where you can see how you match according to God's standards of holiness and righteousness, at least when it comes down to the Ten Commandments.

So God's standards is not our standards. "let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." (Rom 3:4) According to God's Law, we will all find that we have trespassed greatly against the commandments of God! "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (Jam 2:10)

In mathematics, only the right answer is "true". All other answers are false. If we want to pass the test, we have to give the correct answers. In the same way, it's only God's way which leads to Heaven! We find the moral absolutes in God's Law. "The man that doeth them shall live in them." (Gal 3:12) But if we live by God's Law, we will perish! This was the problem with the Old Covenent. It's almost impossible to follow God's Law. We can try, but we will fail. We try, but we sin and so on. Then we hopefully will cry out: "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" (Rom 7:24)

Jesus said about the adulteress that was caught in action: "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." (John 8:7)

How could they stone the adulteress when they themselves were sinners? It was only Jesus Christ who fullfilled God's Law. Therefore, all the glory belongs to God. We are sinners, and it's only by trusting in Jesus Christ - what He did for us - that we can hope of getting saved. Jesus saves from destruction.

God has paved the way to salvation.

So what about the one that has never heard the good news?

"For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law" (Rom 2:12)

Even if a person has never heard the gospel, or God's Commandments, he will still be judged, but without God's Law.

"For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;" (Rom 2:14-15)

If a person lives in a remote place, and he has never heard the good news, and lives, and dies, then that person will still have no excuse if he didn't believe. He will be judged.

As the Bible clearly teaches, he could still understand what was right and wrong, through the God-given conscience, even though he didn't know the Word of God.
When we read the Bible, our conscience confirms what it says in our hearts, and we constantly think: "This is the truth."

"Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" (Rom 1:19-20) (Hallelujah the Bible is so great.)

Through the creation, we can know that there is a Creator. Everything that exists has a cause. All people can understand that. (You don't need a Bible to understand that!) So, there's no excuse. A person that lives in a desolate place, can still be sober enough to understand, that it's the Creator that is to be worsipped, not the created things. They can understand that idols made by men, blacksmiths, etc. are not gods. They are just dead stones.

I have an example of this, of a tribesman, who understood that the idols that his tribe worshipped, could not have created the world. He soon began to worship the "invisible" God. After a time, God appeared to him in a vision (it was Jesus Christ), where he was told that white men would arrive in his tribe, and they would bring the message of salvation with them. Soon, when the white men arrived, he ran up to them and asked: "What is his name? What is his name!" His name is Jesus Christ - He is the same yesterday, today and forever! (Hebr 13:8)

Another example we find in the Scripture. The greeks were very "religious", and worshipped all kinds of idols or false gods. The apostle Paul walked about in Athens, and preached on a famous hill: "Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (Acts 17)

So, even people who have never heard the good news, CAN believe and worship the "unknown" God... But, it's only belief in Jesus as God's Son that saves.

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." (2 Chron 16:9)

If there is such a starving person of the truth, God will not abandon him! The world is not that big, that God can not send a single servant, to such a place. God can also appear to the persons in visions, as has happened. When these truth-loving people hear the gospel, they will immediately conceive that this is the truth, and they will be the first to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ when the opportunity comes.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Several muslims have had dreams about Jesus Christ (Isa). Today I read an article about a jew who lived in Jerusalem, who had dreamt the same dream several times. He dreamed about the rapture, in 1 Thessalonians... When he explained this for the Rabbis, they did not understand his dream. Finally, he asked a christian. That one opened the NT and read the passages. "That was my dream!" the jew said. He then prayed for salvation. Right on that street, he was saved and then received the Holy Spirit!

"And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel" (Rom 10:15)

Jesus exposed the religous leaders at his time, who was hypocrisers. They were leading the people astray. They though that they were righteous in their own eyes. They would face a more severe judgment, because they knew the will of God. But even the worst sinners can be forgiven. He told this:

"But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.
He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.
And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.
Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you." (Matt 21)

"And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." (Luke 12:47-48)

The simile you wrote is hypothetical only, because I absolutely don't believe it's possible at all to live a religious virtuous life except by knowing God. Or at least His commandments or otherwise in some respect being influenced by christian values.

People who live in desolate places off-scoured from civilisation is often if not always very primitive in their culture.

The apostle Paul lived flawlessly according to the the Law of Moses, yet he persecuted the early Christian congregation (Church).
But because he had done it unknowingly, and in unbelief, God appeared to him in a vision on the road to Damascus and he was saved.

"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." (1 Tim 1:12-13,15)

After his conversion, he was commissioned by God to become the apostle to the gentiles. Praise God. He was martyred by the roman emperor Nero. And now... he is in Heaven. He received the crown of salvation. His record is on high.

His writings make up about 40% of the New Testament.

If someone wonders why I removed the Konqueror-background, this is why: I recently encountered a christian website which purported to tell the truth about the so-called "Star of David". First of all, it stated that it's not "of God by any stretch of imagination", instead it said it was produced under the rule of the apostate King Solomon. As some people may know, he was a very godly man, but when he was old, he fell away from God and raised altars for false gods. It is from here that it is believed that the hexagon symbol was picked up. So it's probably not christian, at all - maybe it's occult? I have not really confirmed this information, but it's looks like it's the truth. It was quite chocking. Actually, even some Rabbis have opposed this symbol. It may be mentioned in Scripture. Amos the prophet says: "But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves." (Am. 5:26)

I have a responsibility if I fear God, and I removed the image. I changed the license - if that is possible (I believe it is) - to "destructionware". This means: If you have downloaded the "Shield of David-II" etc. ".png" background, please remove it. Press shift-delete.

This was the site where I found the information:

Thank you for being more kind this time! I appreciate it.

Dogmatic evolutionism is a philosophical standpoint not science.

You are correct that they, some intolerant evolution-believing dogmatics, are fighting the intelligent design movement with the zeal of a religious fundamentalist. But people should not be afraid of any science. They don't allow any criticism!

(Do you know that in North Korea, the koreans are indoctrinated by the authorities to believe that the surrounding world lives in chaos, that it's full of murderers etc. and that North Korea is a paradise? It's a crime to mention God. If you own a Bible, they will torture you, and cast you in jail along with your whole family. It's an utterly evil nation.)

If evolutionism truly was science, then they would encourage criticism, but obviously, that's what they are afraid of. What are they afraid of? The light has nothing to hide. True truth can stand against false accusations. I've read far enough to know that even secular scientists are questioning the so-called "evidences" of evolution. It's very specular. Most people (in the west, not in the US) believe in it because they have been told it's true. They don't know. They have never read any criticism. They don't know that there aren't any transitional species. They have searched for 130 years. There should be millions of them among fossils. There are none! (In others words: There have never been any historical evolution.) Information does not come out of nothing, and of course, no new information can come into existence regardles of how many "millions of years". (This proves evolution impossible.) There are so many problems with the evolution-theory, that from a strict scientific standpoint, it is not true. It is false.

But according to the evolutionists themselves, they still choose to believe in it, knowing these problems, because the only reasonable OTHER explanation, is to believe in an intelligent being, i.e. God. And they "don't" believe in God. We see the point.

There's no problem to believe that an almighty, transcendent God created the universe, no problem. It's fair logic. Everything that exists has a cause. Nothing comes out of nothing. I don't have to be very deep here. God transcends space and time, "the creation".

No, I can't prove God. But God speaks to the conscience. He does not force anyone to believe. But I do know out of personal experience, i.e. supernatural experiences, that there is a spirit world and there is a God. "Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice", Jesus said.

I'm sorry if you feel that Hell according to you is just a message to scare people into "believing". But truly you understand that Hell is not enough to make people believe at all. You have to realize WHY Jesus died on the Cross. It was to redeem mankind so that we will not be condemnded (end up in Hell). This was the mission of Jesus Christ. God is very holy, and righteous. No unrepented, unforgiven sinner will enter Heaven.

Man is fallen (think about fallen angels). He is sinful. Therefore, he must become a new creature. He must be born again to enter Heaven.

When I was saved, born again, and filled with the Holy Spirit, I suddenly realized that I had stopped cursing. I realized that I had started to love people. My spiritual eyes were opened. Previously i didn't understand the Bible, but now I did. I did get fair proof.

Through belief in Jesus and confession of our sins (once!) we will be forgiven. We will receive the ticket to Heaven. And it's free! This is the 'good news'. Also, we will as a bonus get a much better life here on earth. Jesus heals from diseases and sicknesses. He restores marriages, relations etc. In short: He is God's solution to every problem.

"Heaven on earth."

People also should know that Intelligent Design has nothing to do with what non-theistic people mention as "religion". Intelligent Design is a science in the same respect as evolution, in other words an alternative theory. Thus, I don't "believe" in ID, I just claim that it's closer to the the truth than evolution. If science points to a supernatural Creator, then so be it. We should never be afraid of the truth.

Nowadays some of the nominal so-called "christian" Churched don't even teach 'Hell', because they are apostate. They have forgotten why Jesus died for them.

But what did Jesus say? [in fact, in the context he said it to the apostate religious leaders, the pharisees, not ordinary men.] "how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" (Matt 23:33)

Frightening, absolutely. We can't escape damnation by simply "doing good". Good deeds does not save. It's only through belief in the One whom God sent we can be saved. Jesus took our punishment, He payed the price for our sins. His blood was the sacrifice for our sins. This is God's plan of salvation.

So, if we accept what God's Son did for us, then we will not be found guilty on the Judgement Day. Call on the name of the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved. It's easy to call on the name of the Lord. "Today is the day of salvation."

The "fantastic" estimated years according to the theory of evolution is not enough to make evolution possible, even if it was. There's a lot of information about this... As for carbon 14, perhaps no concept in science is as misunderstood as "carbon dating". Carbon dating can not be used to date things like rocks and fossils. It's only useful for once-living things which still contain carbon, like flesh, bone or wood. It's a common misunderstanding that carbon 14 can date millions of years. Carbon 14 is limited to fifty thousand years. It might be useful in archaeology, but not in geology or paleontology.
Please not that creation scientists also work with theories. If there would arouse a problem, there are a number of ways to explain it.

The Holy Bible is a supernatural Book, penned by holy men of old "as they were moved of the Holy Ghost". You can't judge it by natural means. It's prophetic and speaks of the past, present and future.

I just have, before I go to bed, post these two blessed links which PROVES that there are lots of intelligent people, in this case scientists, who believes in Creation. It deserves to be heard!

Heavy list of people in the past and today, who believed or currently believes in the Creation as written in the Word of God!

Of course, the greatest scientist of them all, Isaac Newton, was a believer in scientific creation!

Some people are fond of evangelizing even though they themselves say they don't believe in a religion. That is not consistent. These same persons are the first to tell others not to evangelize. However, I've not been evangelizing. This is just what I am. A Christian believer who professes faith in Christ. What I did here, was to promote a blessed app. called 'BibleTime'. Of course, you can't advocate for a software without talking for what's it about! The inaccuracy on claims of biblical account, or so called 'biblical illiteracy' is very widespread these days. It's normal to meet people who can make the most false astonishing claims about God, Jesus Christ, the Bible etc. even though they don't know an iota of what they are talking about. They haven't even read the New Testament. (But I guarantee you, that You will not be disappointed, if you do!)

Now, if you want to discuss Christianity, I assure that there are tons of websites for that sole (soul) purpose! I have recommended a few of them, but there are probably more. If you are interested and want to know more about the God that created the universe, then I refer to the links posted, AND especially for sake of biblical creation, Creation Science. For God is alone the Creator of the universe.

Everything that exists has a cause. By this, we know that God IS. Einstein knew it, and I do too! Thank you people. God bless you, your children, and/or your family.

This is how I became a believer: I was lying down on my bed. I called on the name of the Lord. For the Holy Bible says: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom. 10:13) Instantly, after a few 10-15 seconds, I could feel that I was beeing infilled by the Holy Ghost. It went out in the whole of my body; every limb, my fingers, my toes. This was an remarkable experience! The empty void inside my heart, suddenly was gone! I was filled with the grace of the Living God and His eternal Love!

This born-again experience lasted about 45 seconds. I can't remember exactly. It was three years ago. I knew that I was a New Creature (new Creation. In Christ). From thas day on, I could not doubt anything in the Holy Bible anymore. Past I had lots of doubts. How could every man descend from two prehistoric men: Adam and Eve. But now that I had experienced the truth MYSELF, I knew that everything in the Holy Scriptures was 100 percent truth. My faith became very strong.
I still feel the precious presence of the Holy Spirit residing in my chest as I write these words of grace to you.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - - II Corinthians 5:17 - -

There is One who Saves from Hell, and there's one who wants you to go there. Who's who? Jesus is the One who saves, and the Devil is the one that makes people go to Hell.

There is no such thing as a freedom to offend other people because of their faith. That's called persecution. You should for that purpose remove that artwork at once.

Please respect people of other faith's, thanks. - Jan 08 2006

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:19)

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. (John 16:3)

Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life (1:st John 3:13-14a)

These things I command you, that ye love one another. (John 15:17)

If anyone who does not believe ponders why Christians are hated even though they make little or even no harm - in fact they make pretty much good - it is because of the devil. Anyone who is of the truth, who loves the truth, WILL realize that there it's something NOT in order... (This is also why Jews are hated in non-christian parts (regions who lives in desperation and darkness) of the world, because the Jews are still the chosen people of God. The New Covenant is with the Jewish people, but gentiles can also be saved through repentance, trusting in what Jesus the Messiah did on the Cross, when He payed the price for our sins. But regardless of who you are you need to repent of your evil deeds because EVERYONE has sinned and FALLEN. Jesus payed your penalty. It's nothing but madness to reject such a FREE gift. The devil blinds people, cus he wants them to literally perish in Hell!)

And God is testing people. He knows those that would follow Him even though it may bring ridicule. If you have to choose between to live a life in TRUTH or in a LIE, choose the truth, no regard to the cost at all. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36) But it's your choice.

FOR SCIENCE, the Bible does include scientific statements, and for that reason many creation researchers are depending on it. This is a fact. ( You should respect those many scientists. But that is not the main purpose of the Holy Scriptures. But as for education, the Holy Bible IS profitable for learning, but that is not the main purpose of the Holy Scriptures, either. The american Noah Webster considered education useless without the Bible. The Word is practically about everything. It's about becoming a new creature. And it WORKS, because I've experienced it!

I'm sure it's called merry Christ(mas), because...

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. (Matt 5:18-26)

"For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."

ArbitraryReason: Are you referring to my faith or the artwork? If you are referring to my faith, then why don't you "keep it to your self"?

Of course, I understand that you are really attacking my faith. I have all the rights in the world to believe what I believe, and still post images as a member of KDE-Look.

No harm made, though.

link97381: Thanks a lot.

But for the screenshot, Konqueror is a very versatile application. No-one uses it simply to view some small icons. I use it to even read the Holy Bible, using the sword:/ protocol.

This is relevant because, as many Christians probably will download the image, will appreciate it. Remember it's a screenshot on the usage of Konqueror by a christian believer. It does pretty clearly express how I use Konqueror using the background I posted. I took care to only include the window and chose the most relevant biblical verse. There is nothing forbidding you to click on the tiny 2.9kb png-image download (only 2 colors).

A lot of people are advertising stuff in screenshots, beside what they are really uploading, such as movies, nudity, violence etc. So whats wrong with quoting the Book of Life??

The impression is this: "You post things about violence, sex, curse God, all kind of evildoings, but the Bible is not allowed." (This would be rather strange, if the Word of God was just another book. But obviously in reality, it's the truth in everything it says, just like in Joh. 15:17-19.)

There is no such thing as "creationists". It's called science. Since there are no evidences whatsoever for the evolution-theory it cannot honestly be called "science". (Or, at least you may say that they are about at the same level.) The Bible is always ahead of science, though.

Belief in Jesus is a part of what I am. You can't separate me from my Lord. You will have to cut of my tongue. (I will then turn into a martyr.)

Since I am living in a godless society, I'm constantly wrapped "in your face" to what to believe, and what not to believe. The message beeing propagated is definitely not to live in a godly lifestyle. It's not to believe in God, or the Bible. I was therefore indoctrinated in school, to become a materialistic atheist. For instance, never once did I hear of that there are no evidences of evolution. I was wholly indoctrinated.

About my signature:

I've not said that anyone here is damned to Hell. If you don't believe in a literal Hell, then why even bother? It would be just a piece of artwork. Hell is an eternal fire. I've stopped cursing. I'm sure that a lot of people mentions "hell" all the time, yet they say they don't believe in it. But what's more strange - no one bother! But they should, because apart from sinning, they are negatively influencing people to do the same - to curse God and one another, instead of loving them enough to tell them the truth - that without Jesus you/they will be judged for theirs sins. Judge for yourself, if you will be judged to enter Heaven, or eternal flames of Hell. But the Bible is clear: Without Jesus all will be condemned; "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Jesus payed the price through His Blood as a sacrifice for sins so that we can be reconciled to God, and not be condemned.

I'm sorry, but I'm positive that it's not legal even to include "some" widgets. They are copyrighted © Microsoft and they have hired graphical artists for all their work. They are getting payed for. Just don't download and even less upload copyrighted work. This is not free.

People are using Linux because it's free. The truth is, I even switched to Linux because of it. I used a pirated Windows XP, then Jesus saved me, and all the more I felt a bad conscience because of this, because of the Lord. The fact is: The Lord even told me TO switch to Linux. It suddenly appeared a word in my head. "Linux". I had used it before, and had never taken the thought, so I was shocked.

But I find, increasingly, that many Linux users are ignorant of legal stuff. Sometimes, when installing applications, I find that they are not really free, because they may include copyrighted files. I have to remove them manually. Linux should be free. But this isn't.

If you - I'm talking about any user - want those nice window buttons, then either purchase Vista or create an equivalent similar-looking yet not identical set of buttons. Then you may release it under any license.

"Islam" is the spirit of antichrist, and has nothing to do with the truth. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. He is the only way to God. There is no spiritual salvation found in Islam. You get saved if you kiss a meteorite! Those who will not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will perish in the eternal lake of fire! Eternity never ends. Think about that. See this page:

Every born-again christian Linux/KDE-user has an obligation to pray over these programs, and to pray for the many muslim KDE-users. Jesus Christ gave his life for them, so that they should not perish but have everlasting life. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Eph. 6:12)

If you see darkness entering the Linux/computer scene, then you have yourself to blame. The blessing of free software is not something to take for granted - of course, you know the situation in Europe. Unless you pray...

There is a need for a Bible study program, for what The GIMP is for graphic editors.

I have a vision of a plugin-based Bibleprogram, which can be for studying the Word of God for what The GIMP is for graphics, integrated into the KDE-environment, in the kicker, and everything.

If you believe I'm some sort of a "religious fanatic", then let me just say you this: I'm an ordinary geek which was saved just two years ago. You can live by atheism, but it does not hold to die on!
