It seems that few things are broken after update with Gnome 3 Team PPA. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04, got Gnome 3.7.9 now and most of the right click and top application menus have white background instead of theme colors.

However "border-bottom-width" could be 0px by default, otherwise it creates very odd visual effect - that border line above maximized window doesn't always look like a straight line, depends on background ofc. - Feb 03 2013
