I'm using the theme on a lappie with 1280x800 resolution and the title bar is a bit large.
Thanks in advance. - Dec 28 2018

IMHO, the XFWM theme looks amazing combined with the Adapta GTK theme. - Dec 27 2018

Only thing, tho, and obviously this isn't your fault, it looks rather big on my 12800x800 resolution. - Aug 24 2018

Tested all of your themes (ChrAdapta, ChrBlueButtons, ChrDarkButtons, ChrDarkVariant & ChrGreyButtons) on Linux Mint 18 XFCE, installed those system wide on "/usr/share/themes/", the only one that shows window control buttons is "ChrGreyButtons" and it only shows one button (See screenshot if you want to: http://i.imgur.com/7Pc1DWX.png).
Besides, I know you designed this theme to be used on FHD dislays, but on a 1600x900 screen the title bar looks huge.
Cheers.

Do you know if its possible to use it on XFCE so it uses different colors for different programs?
Thanks! - Apr 10 2017

Icon Sub-Sets by Art-2 21 comments
They look really cool on Linux Mint 18 (XFCE, doh!)
I had to create the "weather/icons" directories.
cd Downloads
unzip Clima.zip
cd ~/.config/xfce4/
mkdir -p weather/icons
cp -R ~/Downloads/Clima ~/.config/xfce4/weather/icons/
And select the "Clima" icon theme from the Appareance tab on the Weather Update plugin properties.

Hey, muchas gracias!
Queda muy bueno en Linux Mint 18 XFCE, lo estoy usando con los iconos de GNOME Colors, y se ve muy bien.
Tuve que crear los directorios "~/.config/xfce4/weather/icons/".
Excelente trabajo.

Used it on and off (on Ubuntu's 14.04 Unity) since June 2014, the only problem that stops me from switching to it for good is that it has some errors on Evolution (the email client). Here are couple of screenshots, if you want to take a look at them:
https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-p8TiryuGjC0/VwWbAcrD1XI/AAAAAAAAMa8/-OtATF7mOiMjikFA9JrHSA3Q0CWJhNoyQ/s1600/Screenshot%2Bfrom%2B2016-04-06%2B20%253A13%253A08.01.png
It basically shows the plain text windows with a strange black background, and, it also shows some very annoying black lines on the Evolution's App selector, just like this:

TIA :D

I'm using your theme, on a plain vanilla Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bits) installation.
It installs without any problem (I went system wide on "/usr/share/themes/") and it loads, again, w/o any problems, but the window buttons are not correct...
Even tho, I did execute:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme "Ant"
The window buttons look like this:
http://imgur.com/Uc4VKZo
This problem is specially troublesome with maximized windows, since the Global Menu bar is dark, you can't see the resize and minimize buttons.

I found it...
Its the one called 'name="title_border"'.
Amazing theme, with the GNOME Classic looks pretty, pretty good. - Jun 27 2012

I want to reduce the size of the Metacity titlebar, tried reducing the "title_vertical_pad" on the file, but the value is 0 to begin with...
How can I reduce that size?
TIA :D
- Jun 27 2012
Personally, for having a dark Gnome Panel, instead of what you provided as instructions (they seem way to complicated) I've added a line to the gtkrc file to include a panel.rc that specifies the use of a png file with the darker background.
Pretty sure that might not resemble what the Panel looks like on Gnome 3; but it is close enough for me.

The "white theme" for giving it a name-, the one with orange scrollbars, looks rather nice.
Did you squeezed the size of the buttons on the window in the end?
On that theme they look smaller, but perhaps it is the lighter background.

The only thing I don't like are the graphics embedded on the title bar, but that's me. Those seem to be a little more subtle on the Blue version that you have on the Google page.

Unless there is a necessity due to some Assistive purpose, I really don't find the need for borders (other than the title bar) nowadays.

Please excuse me, but I'm not sure, the snips of code you posted above are to be applied to your theme, right? That is, to Simply Basic, am I correct?

One question, have you given any thought in making it completely borderless?
I have tried to edit it using what I did for my theme:
Ambiance Thin
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ambiance+Thin?content=125911
But the title bars don't look nice...
Perhaps you can work that out? Completely borderless Metacity is hot!
TIA

The Metacity theme, or window borders, are really nice, at least IMHO.
Good work.
Please, please, don't bump this one ad infinitum :p
