Excellent work! Like this a lot.

May I ask what the GTK and icon theme you are using are called? - May 09 2007

I like this a lot!

I would prefer it if the maximize glyph was different on maximized windows to represent the change in what it does (ie maybe if the arrow pointed downwards?)

Overall tho, a very nice border. - Apr 21 2007

I've been looking for a theme like this for so long.

So far it looks spot on to me. A good workhorse, day to day theme.

Thanks a lot! I'm loving this theme.

Can I ask if the Chicago-like font in your pictures is available to complete the look?

PS. Other classic MacOS themes made to this standard would be very much appreciated! ;-) - Dec 05 2006

Good stuff, only problem is that the metacity border comes out brown! Does look good under compiz tho :) - Sep 06 2006

Simple but effective, just as I like.

I would prefer it if the text was a bit more interesting though, perhaps a different font could add a touch of detail.

All in all though, a nice usable wallpaper. - Jan 24 2006

You say it relies on clearlooks, but it appears to use the BlueCurve engine...

Maybe it should be this ?

RoberTO, it was your great themes that inspired me to give Metacity theming a go!

Thank you!

Yes, it's very possible :) Extract the files from the tar.gz and look inside the xml file. Replace things like 'gtk:fg[SELECTED]' (which would pull the foreground colour from the current GTK theme) with a colour value (like the ones used in HTML eg #00FF00).

I found this link very useful:
