I also had to run "sensors-detect" to get it to work.

Nice theme, btw. - May 17 2005

Just tested this on Gentoo, after adding ~amd64 to the ebuild. It compiled fine, and works, but is far to slow to test properly.

Is this using hardware rendering? I have a geforce 6800, and usually when I run glx apps with composite enabled, I just get slight black box artifacts, and the gl part is always in front of everything else. This completly confused xcompmgr (or whatever they use in kde 3.4.) and didn't display any of the usual problems.

With composite disabled, it just runs incredibly slowly, even when I turn everything off. - May 09 2005

I really like the level of customisation this provides, but I have one problem with it:

When a window is maximized, it creates a 1 pixel border around the window, regardless of wether I set the border size to zero.

This makes it difficult to hit a thin target near the edge of a maximised window, for example the panel toggle in Opera. Where I'd normally just shove the mouse to the edge and click, I now have to fiddle around to move it back in by one or two pixels.

Is there any way I can disable this border, or could it be removed in an update?

Also, do you think it would be possible to make use of the composite manager to do the transparencies? I don't use any of the blending techniques since I've been spoiled by xcompmgr! - May 09 2005
