maybe what i mean with magnification (and how it is called in mac os x) is the same as parabolic zoom, however, here is an example: http://www.trickyways.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/mac-dock.jpg
for the configuration, maybe something like this could be enough: http://www.trickyways.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/03-change-dock-settings.png ? - Sep 16 2009

yeah, i just mean the current zoom animantions, where you hover over an icon and it becomes bigger and the surrounding ones too, but these at a little bit smaller grade.
but if its already planned, I'll wait for this. nice. thanks and keep up ;) - Sep 15 2009

I really like your plasmoid, I even would say, its one of the best and most useful so far! ;)
however, if you mind to add leipzig, germany, the website to get all the stations is http://www.lvb.de.
unfortunately the departures per station are only available via pdf, e.g. http://www.lvb.de/uploads/lines/AFP_LI4_1_1010302_19.PDF - don't know, if you can make use of this.
nevertheless, great work, and keep up with this! - Jul 04 2009

hopefully we'll still see some progress in development of xara xtreme - since they stopped working on it ca. 1,5 years ago nearly nothing happens to the program. it could have become THE vector app in the linux world ... - Oct 02 2007

I know that it works with
./configure --prefix=/usr
for Kubuntu, but for others ... ??? - Oct 02 2007

however, corrected some rights/permissions ... maybe this was the reason.
please try again ;) - Oct 01 2007

KDE 3.x Window Decorations by industrie13 10 comments
for Kubuntu try
./configure --prefix=/usr
I originally wrote it more generally since the KDE directory seems to be somewhere else in every Distro ;) - Sep 28 2007

I guess, this is because of "configure"'s prefix-option.
You have to provide the script with the path where your KDE-directory is located. E.g. for KUbuntu you would have to type:
./configure --prefix=/usr
Had the same prob at the beginning ;) - Sep 27 2007

However, to improve usability and pay tribute to the custom practice wouldn't it be better and more logic to place the 'back'-button left from the 'play'-button and the 'forward'-one right from it?
I don't mean changing the design, you only had to replace them with each other ;) - Aug 09 2006

Linux is about choice, even if its chosen to be themed like vista and with the vista look and feel MS did a huge step ahead.
However, still a little tip regarding your Firefox ... there a some really nice vista themes out there, look at the firefox-category of deviantart.com to fit it to the rest of your desktop - Jul 30 2006

however, to make it more vista, you also could theme your firefox this way ... look at deviantart for some nice themes, eg.: http://www.deviantart.com/view/27125323/
but what I'm still interested in, how did you get that little "arrow" left from your kickers systray? Have seen this on other sreenshots too, but never figured out how to do ... - Jul 29 2006
