I'll give that a try... Surprisingly, dealing with lots of tweets doesn't choke other clients like Twhirl and Tweetdeck, so I'm sure there's a way... regardless, great app. - Dec 24 2010
I have to agree that this app is the best Twitter client on Linux...

One quick question. I have a few (10,000+) followers on twitter... and Choqok seems to choke after 15-20 minutes. It feels like a GUI type of issue where it's trying to render 5,000+ tweets in the scrolling widget. What can be done to make Choquok operate more smoothly? - Dec 08 2010
