Each time I run configure it claims I don't have libbeagle installed. I do have that installed. It came with Beagle and it installed in /us/local/lib. I tried updating PKGCONFIG_PATH to point to the .pc file. That didn't help either. Beagle is version beagle-0.2.5 built from source. So what might actually get it to build? - May 12 2006

Sounds like a good idea. But the files you put out for download are crippled for most of us. I'm not going to downgrade automake just so I can build your program. Every other program I have had to build here has been no problem. So, is it just that you want to be obscure and out of touch? Or would you like for people to actually use this? - Apr 21 2006

Audio Format Converter

Amarok 1.x Scripts by mlmitton 67 comments

The script asks me where I want to save files, format to save in and quality. It then proceeds to convert files that I don't want converted. I only want it to convert m4 files that I stored in one directory. But it jumps over to another directory and completely ignores the files I would like to convert. Wouldn't it be just a little more logical to at least ask the user which files he would like to convert? I want me to decide, not the script. - Jul 04 2005

KDE Wave Wallpaper

Wallpapers KDE Plasma by sbrown1038 1 comment

You obviously have real design skills, which is more than I can say for most of the people who post wallpapers here. But I like to see wallpapers with placement for the standard icons in mind, like Trash, Desktop, Floppy and CD. I'm usually running at least one Karamba monitor too. It would be nice to see some screenshots with ideas. I generally have a hard time coming up with good window decorations, color schemes and icons to go with the good wallpapers I see here. It's nice when people can at least illustrate a total design. - Oct 09 2004

I've used K3B on this same box before with no problems. But with 0.11.12 I can't burn an image at all. First, it claims there is no media present (there is). If I do an eject and load, it makes the same claim. Then it just sits there. So, I select "force" and it tries to burn, but dies with this error:
