Well, that certainly took care of it. It's working nicely now :-)

No doubt something did get corrupted. That DB has been upgraded who knows how many times. I've been running Amarok almost since it's inception. Thanks again for you help. - May 01 2008
>The structure is:
>Mmm... this info is not enough...

That's the file structure for the files. What information are you specifically looking for?

> Is this script looking for a specific image >type of a specific location for the Amarok DB?
>It uses the images in Amarok DB, which are always stored as PNG.

What if the cover image is set manually? For example, I have a file called cover.jpg in each album folder. Does Amarok that that image, converts it to a PNG file and then inserts it into the DB or does it link to the JPG in the folder? - Apr 19 2008
The structure is:

Is this script looking for a specific image type of a specific location for the Amarok DB? - Apr 16 2008
And like BorgQueen, I have never had this script installed before. Also, regardless of if I drag and drop the files from the Context tab or the Collection tab, the results are the same. - Apr 13 2008
The script is displaying an error in the pop-up that indicates that the track is "Not in Collection" which is not the case since well, I'm choosing my tracks from my collection. Thoughts? - Apr 12 2008

I think if you were to change the Gentoo watermark to a tatoo, it would be a nice subtle commentary of Evangelina's love of Gentoo. I've been running Gentoo full time since version 1.4 came out and it's nice to know that there are sexy women that love it as much as I do ;-) - Jul 02 2007

Ok, that showed me exactly what I was missing (a link to a library). So after manually reinstalling it, I can now access KNemo from the tray and Control Center. Apparently, the emerge package must have broken something. Anyway, thanks for the help. Keep up the great work on KNemo. It's one of the handiest tools I have on my laptop. - Apr 12 2007
The option for monitoring the interfaces
was previously active and I was able to see them in the tray. They are no longer there and I cannot access the "Network Monitor" link inside of Control Center. It just blinks every time I click on it. Hence my there a way to reset the Control Center module or manually start the tray icons so that I can access the configuration interface for KNemo? - Apr 12 2007
I used to be able to access Knemo from Control Center but after the most recent upgrade, the link is still in CC however, clicking on it no longer brings up the interface. Also, the links in the tray are gone. Any ideas how I can reinitialize the module? Thanks. - Apr 11 2007

Maybe someday Amarok will support a feature like that. In the meantime, I just created a new application link in KDE and assigned a shortcut key to it. Win+F pops me into full screen mode nicely. Thanks again for your script. It made setting the theme easy for me :-) - Mar 29 2007
First, nice job on this script. It works perfectly. What I would like is either a toolbar button or a shortcut key that would turn on/off your script. Not sure if that is possible but I figure I'd throw that suggestion out. Thanks! - Mar 29 2007

One thing I did notice (since I had to reinstall the LDraw library) is that the unix-complete.tgz file unpacks all of the parts in uppercase format for the directories. I had to change all of the directories to lowercase in order for KLDraw to recognize that the parts were located in /usr/share/ldraw.

Unless you incorporate a configuration option into KLDraw or I suppose, I set that LDRAWDIR option, KLDraw will not start up. I also notice that none of the parts are visible when I expand the tree in the left hand pane.

I am using a custom Gentoo installation so if you need any library version information, just let me know. - Nov 27 2006
Well, it compiles and is able to open some old .dat files however, the parts render completely in black. The LDRAW library is installed in /usr/share/ldraw but when I launch kldraw from the console, this error appears:

libLDR: init_refmap(): ERROR! environment variable "LDRAWDIR" is not set!

Any ideas? - Nov 26 2006
What an incredible coincidence that this is released right after I installed MLCad using wine. Thank you very much for starting this and I hope you can include at the very least the same amount of features that MLCad has. As for LeoCAD, as someone else put it, it DoA for the most part. Hasn't really been updated in a while and it was never as good as MLCad.

When this get to a mature enough stage, I will create an ebuild for it. I'm looking forward to using it. Thanks again. - Oct 17 2006

Thank you for this great application. I've been looking for something like this that can live in the tray for all of my server connections. While the copy and paste is a great time saver, I would like to request a feature: template based profiles. That way when you create a new connection, all you have to do is fill in the unique server name and nothing else. - Sep 19 2006
