No, I have no future developments planned for this script. Now I have a SE W880i, and I use the "Remote Control" feature instead of any script. Anyway, I would need a SE P1i in order to program a script for it. - Jul 28 2008

I just have to realize that there is a more serious problem, Sony Ericsson has not published (yet?) the specifications of the AT commands for M600i :-S

Well, and if you are a programmer you can try to port the script when the specifications are released ;-)

Greetings,

No, it is not possible, because M60 use a different AT instrutions set. This program only works with the models listed in the description above. A direct portability is not possible, the AT instructions set are totally different. - Sep 05 2007

Sorry, the script is not compatible with K550i, because this phone use a different AT instrutions set. Blueamarok only supports T68, T68i, T300, T310, T610, Z600, T230/T238/T226, T630 and T290 models.

No, Z520i is not compatible. Please, read the script description (above this lines), you'll find the compatibility list.

I'm sorry, the file was compressed with bzip2 but I put the 'gz' extension instead of 'bz2'. Change the extension of your file or download it away.

Anyway you MUSN'T decompress the file, load it directly from the amarok script manager. Even you don't have to change the extension, it will detect the file format automatically. - Dec 11 2006

It happens to me too, but it isn't an amaroKopete issue, I think it's a compatibility problem between Kopete and MSN Messenger :-S - Sep 27 2006

Hello, I don't know how it looses connection. Check your phone configuraction or bluez configuration (maybe any energy saving). BlueamaroK works over a bluetooth conection, but not touch any connection parameter, it is controlled by the bluez stack.

BlueamaroK is based on a script called BlueKaffeine, also programmed by me, it's hosted in sourceforge:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/bluekaffeine/

but is in spanish :-P. - Sep 04 2006

This script was programmed for a T610 phone, and the k750i use a different AT commands set. The script isn't compabtible with this model and I can't migrate the script because I haven't a k750i. I'm sorry :-S. - Sep 01 2006

Hello, there are no problem with the brackets, the problem is the lenght of the string sent to the phone, this is a knonw issue. The playlist is shown with 5 songs per page and when the songs titles are too long the script fail. :S - May 16 2006

I think it would be imposible. I had to do hunders of test while I was programming the script because I didn't know how the phone will response to the AT commands. I have been reading the K750i AT commands set documentation and it's totally different. The script must be fully recoded again. - Apr 19 2006

I assumed that the user has the bluez configured (bad idea). The solution given for mabs is perfect for single-user systems, I recommend it too. But there is a securer solution for multi-users systems. In my system (Debian Sid) this device (/dev/rfcomm0) is owned by user: root and group: dialout.

crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 216, 0 2006-02-07 09:29 /dev/rfcomm0

so I only had to add the user in the dialout group:

adduser khertz dialout.

If your system don't have this configuration by default you will have to type also:

chown root.dialout /dev/rfcomm0
chmod 660 /dev/rfcomm0 - Feb 07 2006

Try to bind it in another channel, (changing the last number in the command line) for example:

# rfcomm bind rfcomm0 00:0E:07:3E:58:0D 2

or

# rfcomm bind rfcomm0 00:0E:07:3E:58:0D 4

try with few channels.

This script was made for T610 model, K700i use a different AT commands set, but I don't know whether this difference make it unusable the script or not. - Jan 25 2006

I'm really disconcerted, if the script connects successfully to the cellphone it would have to work. Which model is your cellphone? I'll send you a test script to your email. - Jan 10 2006

It seems your computer don't connects successfully to your cellphone. A message saying "Connected to BlueamaroK" would have to appear when the script connects to the cellphone and the word "BlueamaroK" displayed over the wallpaper while the script is running. can you see those messages? - Jan 09 2006

No, I think don't work (but I didn't tested it). I used expecific AT commands for Ericsson accessories, like for example: AT*EASM (Ericsson Accessory Sub Menu). I have a SonyEricsson T610 phone, and I did the script for this model. I have been searching documentation about AT commands for other models, but I have not been able to find it. - Jan 04 2006
