Hi again!

Any development on this Win2-XP pack thingy?

I'm really waiting for it, also I would commit to the code, artwork, whatever if you released or made it public. - Mar 20 2011

Oh, God!

Hello, CraigD!

Recently I had to change to Gnome from KDE as I realized there are much more applications written in GTK than in QT that I'm using. Of course Kopete and Amarok are the best of their area, so I wouldn't give up using them. I've liked your theme from the beginning (as you probably can remember), and also wanna use it in the future.

Now, from the Gnome DE I can see there are a big problem with the theme.

The icons. As I switch to QtCurve from Ubuntu's default Human, there come the ugly gear-icons from KDE. Of course I prepared my KDE for using tango-like icons but the stock icons in Gnome witch to the gearish-blueish KDE's ones.

It would be nice if there were a checkbox in the kcontrol's module that enables/disables the using of the KDE's icons.

Fortunately I searched around the /usr/share/themes/QtCurve/gtk-2.0/gtkrc and commented the last line that tells gtk to use KDE's icons. It works, but this isn't the most elegant solution of this problem.

Your theme is the best, keep it up! - Apr 26 2007

hmm.. On gentoo I don't have to, just on my former slackware, but if i can remember, in that way:

somewhere in the source of FreeType's directory go into the includes dir, and in the config.h file search for the string

OPTION_BYTECODE_INTERPRETER

and uncomment the corresponding line. Sorry, I don't remember, but u can use google... :) Search for option_bytecode_interpreter! - Mar 06 2006

Hi Craig,

I see, you don't stop. Now, when your QtCurve theme is the BEST, you start to make f*cking gnomeapps at least usable :) I really like your works.

Now, there is a problem with kgtk:
It compiles, but it won't make the libkgtk.so file:

gimp: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libkgtk.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

hmmm... then, copy it to the correspongind place. But... there isn't any libkgtk.so file in the directories where KGtk was compiled.
Now what to?

(Gebntoo, with all the depending libs or includes installed, of course) - Mar 06 2006
