GTK3 Themes by vinceliuice 542 comments

I found a small bug in the Budgie Desktop application menu. The last menu item you hover over, or the top search result if you´re searching, are :selected even if you´re not hovering over them. They should have the blue background even if you´re not hovering over them. They do in the default themes but not in this theme. Using Mojave-light or Mojave-light-alt, you end up with white text on a light grey background.

I fixed it by editing the gtk.css file inside the gtk.gresource file and changing this:

.budgie-menu button:selected:active, window.org-gnome-gedit > overlay > box.vertical > paned.gedit-side-panel-paned > box.vertical > stack > grid.horizontal > scrolledwindow treeview.view:selected:active, .nemo-window .sidebar .view:selected:active, .nemo-window .sidebar row:selected:active, row.activatable:selected:active {
color: white;
}

to this:

.budgie-menu button:selected:active, window.org-gnome-gedit > overlay > box.vertical > paned.gedit-side-panel-paned > box.vertical > stack > grid.horizontal > scrolledwindow treeview.view:selected:active, .nemo-window .sidebar .view:selected:active, .nemo-window .sidebar row:selected:active, row.activatable:selected {
color: white;
background-color: #2c52d7;
