Using your style causes kdevelop to crash.

I thought it was a kdevelop bug, but then after using gdb on kdevelop I discovered that the crash was caused by

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

I really like your WinDec, very simple and sleek.

Just one request, if not too much trouble -- could you add an option to center the titlebar text?

Keep up the nice work... - Mar 11 2004

For borderless widget, the following works for me:

yourWidget->reparent(0, Qt::WGroupLeader | WStyle_Customize | WRepaintNoErase | WStyle_NoBorder | WDestructiveClose, QPoint(x,y), true );

I guess you only really need the Customize and NoBorder options... - Oct 07 2003
For tooltips, Qt has an annoying "feature" that tooltips for an object are only displayed if the widget that contains the object has the focus. This means tooltips will only display if you first give the widget focus by clicking on it. - Oct 07 2003

Actually, the tool tips do work -- you just need to click somewhere on the widget background to give the widget focus before they'll show up... - May 20 2003
Replace iconRoot by the path to an icon theme you've downloaded and installed.

If you installed the icon theme globally, it should appear somewhere like

If you've installed the icon theme to just your account it should appear in

You want to point iconRoot to a directory which contains an installed icon theme, not a file.

As for superkaramba crashing, try launching superkaramba and this theme from the command line and see if it gives any error messages before it crashes.... I haven't had it crash on me yet since I finished development yesterday. What version of superkaramba are you using? - May 16 2003

You should look into the pyxmms python extension for your xmms section -- it's a lot easier to use than using os.system("xmmsctrl ...")

Just do a google search for pyxmms. - May 18 2003

This theme is very cool, I was thinking of doing something similar in my personal superkaramba theme.

To the superkaramba developer:

I was thinking it would be great if superkaramba could dynamically create/popup Qt menus though, through some kind of Menu API.

Something like:

Keeping track of the menu items might get tricky though. Just an idea. - May 07 2003
