Plasma 4 Extensions by fpuelz 813 comments

this plasmoid (I tried version 0.5.1 and 0.5.3) seems to cause some kind of memory leak. after some hours, xrestop shows around 15000 pixmaps for plasma-desktop. without this plasmoid, the number for my computer is usually below 1000.
kde version is kde 4.3 RC 3, qt version is 4.5.2.
can somebody confirm this problem? - Jul 29 2009

I like it very much... but it does not work with kde 3.5 :-(
The compilation completes without errors but it doesn't appear in the list for the styles in kcontrol!!!

Your program looks great...but i got a problem with it:
I installed your SuSE rpm on my system and no errors occured. But when i want to start kid3, it's loading about 30 seconds and aborts then. What could this referr to?

Thanks for you advise, but i had to do some other changes, until the script worked.

1. chmod 4755 /sbin/poweroff (you advise!)
2. in your install.sh file, i had to change /applnk-redhat/ to /applnk/ because the else-thing doesn't work.
3. in the kpoweroff-file you need to add /sbin/ in front of poweroff

though i had to do these things, your idea is great.

I really want to use this, but when i start the script, and select YES at the prompt, nothing happens.
Do i have to be root that this works? I'm using SuSE 9.0 and KDE 3.1.4 and GDM. I hope somebody can help me.
