Don't get me wrong. The new flat version is super nice and tastefully done, bit IMHO it mingles in the midst of all the other flat themes, while the previous version was unique. - May 20 2020
I installed this theme because of that gradients, that IMHO looked elegant and different from all the other thousands of flat themes. Sorry to see them removed. I'll just keep the old version. - May 20 2020

same issue here. Kup is also two versions older in ubuntu repos. It seems that the package isn't maintained.

It's 2560x1440. Anyway, if you want to make one yourself, it's quite easy. I used "PS Neutral" from https://www.transparenttextures.com/ then tiled it with Gimp over a background layer with a gradient. - May 02 2020

Great set. It needs an update to work properly on recent Plasma versions.
It's easy as adding some symlinks for the missing cursors.

Thank you for this widget, it is has everything that's missing from the default one. Are you planning to propose your fork upstream? That would really be great!

There's one thing that I'd link to be implemented, while everything else is fine: to be able to set a fixed size in pixels. That would be useful when the widget is places on a panel beside a task manager widget that change size. In that case, I noticed that the media player widget changes size too. - Mar 28 2020

The background colour is a little different from the KDE Plasma color scheme. I fixed it by changing every #d6d2d0 to #dedbd9 - Jun 01 2019

Maybe, it could be a good strategy to keep only the 128x128 icons and let plasma downscale them, instead of providing pre-downscaled versions of them.

Yes, verctor icons are convenient, but the grungy look of this icons set is what makes it unique and probably hard to replicate in vector. :-)

Also, I'm personally tired of flat/minimalist themes and icons. Buuf is one of the few icon sets that have some depth and artistic qualities. Faenza (and derivatives) and Evolvere are others, but most Faenza derivatives are incomplete for Plasma. Evolvere is just fine, if the underlying theme fits. - May 27 2019
Also, I'd personally keep the 128x128 icons, because they are used for the task plasmoid preview and in some other occasions. In that cases, the 64px icons would be upscaled and blurry. - May 27 2019
It's better. I had to make some changes for it to fit better to my taste.
1. change Inherits to oxygen,breeze-dark because, for reasons, breeze produces dark monochrome icons
2. reintegrate the extra icons and symlinks I did for my git branch

Now the media icon is visible, albeit a little inconsistent with the other inherited breeze icons. Of course, it's a work in progress and I'm fine with that. I'll see if I have the time to contribute some more :) - May 26 2019

Thanks. I didn't thought about that. I added breeze-dark after the inherited tango and oxygen, because I prefer the coloured icons over the monochrome or flat ones as a fallback. - May 26 2019
I always had issues with the media player tray icon, that's missing. I don't know how to fix it, but I found two workarounds.
1. disable the icon and use the enlarged media plasmoid like in your screenshot
2. copy media-playback-paused/playing/stopped.svg from the breeze icon set to the icon set you are using, under "status"

This scheme is incredibly good even with the Breeze windows decorations (no title gradient and separator on). There's only a thing that I changed: inactive window titles bg -> window bg. To make the active ones stand out better. - May 19 2019

OK! Everything is like in your screenshot, except that my minimized background is like the pinned one (no background) instead of the unfocused one.

It does this even after restarting plasmashell, logout/login and deleting the kcache files.

My plasma version is 5.13.3 - Jul 13 2018
