Improving KDE

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by andrunko 313 comments

Sory for not being well informed but let assume that one installs the path (from package - slackware is mine particular choise). Is it possible with simple uninstalation of the package to "restore" the original settings?

Anyway it looks great on the screenshots. By the way (off topic) what kind of icon selection do you use - it is cool and I want to install it. - Nov 23 2004

I am sorry but doesn't it sound rediculous to anounce it as "KNetworkConf is a KDE application to configure TCP/IP settings on a Linux machine." and later to appear that it is a FRONTEND to Gnome System Tools network backend! What if I do not have GNOME because of lack of space. I do not need two Windows Managers anyway. I believe that is one of the biggest mistakes people do - mix environments, applications and libraries.

The name and the description you give are deceiving. Such application is really needed. But I belive the description you give is misleading people. Please take tthis into consideration.

Please do not get me wrong. I really appreciate your effort to make this application. But I belive the chosen approach is not good. therefore you have those problems porting things to different Linux distributions where KDE works perfectly. - Apr 29 2004
