Now that I cleared the "Release" and put some other text (I put "CustomSchizophrenia"), it works :)
Now it works and it's really kool :D - Mar 16 2013

This sounds really great, but well, even after
$ ./configure
$ make && su -c "make install"
Everything works fine (install works) but I can't launch kontainer since it segfaults (everything in the paste)...
I hope I didn't do anything wrong...
Still, thank you very much for sharing with us your incredible creativity & software ;) - Mar 15 2013

It really looks great with the "Optimal" color set.
I think there are a few missing icons (didn't restart KDE session since switch to NouveKDEGray) (KGet, Kile, KMyMoney, Kontact, Netbeans & quassel)
Thank you very much for sharing :D

A tiny thing I noticed immediatly is: why is the smoke symetrical ? I mean, I think it could be even nicer and look more realistic if you change that cloud :)

But! (there always is a but :þ )
Would it be possible to have an option not to display any event/calendar ? I mean, I just want the grid of numbers from 1st to 31st, no events under it.
Anyway, a really great tool, installed it super easily using the AUR :) - Oct 15 2012

here is a screenshot of your plasmoid:
http://wstaw.org/m/2012/10/01/plasma-desktopKSs583.png
And well, it would be great to have the text displayed by it behave like XBar's.
Else, it was a good idea to propose "Sunken, plain or raised" :)
An other enhancement would be :
Use the default color (in the KDE settings) unless the user ticks a box and chooses an other color (usefull for people using some weird colors in themes or changing often ^_^)
Thanks :) - Oct 01 2012

(But now, I think the name of your plasmoid should be "Title Bar replacement Plasmoid", or something like that :) )
Really super cool :D - Sep 30 2012

Plasma 4 Extensions by ilpianista 44 comments
XBar is part of the Bespin suite ^_^
BTW (off-topic), does the appmenu also work for GTK apps such as Eclipse or Firefox & Chromium ?
And (not off-topic), I think you could create a QML plasmoid displaying the window's name (because on my laptop, I don't have any way of knowing the window's name: no title bar, XBar). For info the window's title is in xprop's WM_NAME :) - Sep 30 2012

Plasma 4 Extensions by ilpianista 44 comments
The text displayed by your plasmoid is _not_ the window title ! It's the application name (which is very different): I expect the plasmoid to tell me: "KDE-Look.org" instead of "Firefox"... (And XBar is already displaying the application's name in my panel :) )
I suggest you change the name of your plasmoid and write an explanation of what it does ;)
That's it :) Great work anyway ! - Sep 29 2012

Be-Shell/Bespin by thomas12777 1663 comments
First, Waoh!
Then, Oooh, so much features!
Afterwards, well I had to write something because it's awesome. And also because there are still some things going wrong.
Since I first tried window transparency with QtCurve, I couldn't get rid of it -look at my own themes uploaded @kde-look. So as I looked at your job (BeClock, which is great) and artwork (the TRON-Flynn theme), I went like, yes, let's try Bespin !
And well, at first, I found the config window a bit disturbing (is it because of QtCurve's? Nevermind) and tried a lot of combinations.
What came out is: translucent windows are much cooler than in QtCurve (espescially the systemsettings one :) ), and well, I can't tell everything but I liked it a lot.
Some things though should be made better: when the menus are transaprent, not all are blurred (weird! The ones from XBar are but not the ones from desktop -eg right click) and, most annoying: the Konsole is not blurred, even if I disable the menu, the tab bar and slidebar :-/
And then, but lots of people also told it, the transitions won't always work. But when they do, it's a real eye candy :)
Eventually, I'll tell you thanks for sharing your amazing creations and this powerfull engine !
Bye ;)

QtCurve by Moviuro 6 comments
To still have the buttons on the maximized windows, go to configuration of QtCurve, In something like "Window Manager", uncheck "hide on maximized windows".
To have the buttons always visible, take a look at the "Window buttons".

Then second: BUT. (well, yes, there always is a but ;) )
Your idea was nice and the realization is even better. But I think it can be enhanced this way :
* allow direct clic & drag from the popup miniature (a bit like a task manager: click on an icon to go to the app; click on a free space to go to it)
* allow keyboard navigation (Windows/Cmd key + arrows, for example)
* allow the mouse to instantly move from right/left edge to the left/right one while sliding. It will allow us to have bigger straps, without any loss of time. To have a look at this functionality, open a long pdf file with okular and click & drag the document until your cursor reaches the top of your screen. It will disappear and appear at the bottom, without having lost its grip ;)
* Create some automated dispositions: for example, Windows/Cmd + Shift + A will make all windows vertically maximized, and wide enough for all them to fill All the strap (5 windows, 3840*1080 pxl strap -> 5 times 768*1080 windows, next to each other)
* Perhaps allow both vertical & horizontal strap?
* Allow reverse mouse movements (mouse goes right, strap goes right, not as it does right now)
Well, that's it!
Thanks a big lot for this awesome addon, I think I'd miss it if I couldn't use it anymore :) - Feb 15 2012

BTW, that's it. BeClock is perfect :D - Dec 11 2011

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by thomas12777 285 comments
BeClock has becaome mandatory for each new Linux Distro I install. It's great and well... just great :)
But (there is always something to be done), I'd like to be able to change the font of the clock.
Else, I really like the way to bring analog rings and a digital clock together... It's modern without being... ugly xD
Thanks again !! - Dec 10 2011
I'm not really found of monochrome icons but this time, you seduced me !
The sonetto folders are simply beautiful... But there still is something I find a bit ugly : why are line icons drawn with thick lines ? I mean, take a look at the konsole icon (128x128) : it is 10pxl thick... too much ! the line should thiner to come in harmony with sonetto icons. They'll better suit me. Same for the physics icon, computer, home and so on...
Second thing: you should allow other start-here icons to live together. I mean, the maint one, the "start-here" has to be chosen in the customization script and the other icons should be available in the "places" subfolders, not in the "start-here" one (which is your own tribute I assume): by doing this, the other icons will still be available for any folder to wear it (I have ~20 distros' isos in 10 folders, which icons previously were the own distros start-here. Now they all are my unique start-here icon... :/)
Else, it is really great :) customization script is cool !!! - Nov 05 2011
