Unfortunately the indentation was fscked up when I posted. The simplest solution is to open the file src/sysinfo.cpp in a text editor and put the
while (*it != "---")
in front of line 771.

BTW, it seems like the output of the mediamanager was changed on Ubuntu only, for whatever reason. - May 26 2008

had the same bug and finally got a moment to fix it. In KDE 3.5.9 you've got to apply the following patch. Gotta find out who's the upstream dev to mail it to him/her.

I clicked the "bad" link myself :o) The reason is that the tool, while it might be handy in some circumstances, is pretty crappy and I don't have the time to work on it. I didn't even file any other known bugs yet... - Jan 28 2004
