Ah i see, wouldn't it be better if you just made a new theme alltogether then? The "New" theme looks a Lot different from the old/classic Marwaita theme. Just a recomendation since i LOVE the old/classic marwaita theme.

When it comes to the New theme, i personally would love the previouse Steam-icon to be implemented in this theme as well, it was the only Steam-Icon i personally thought looked good xD - Jul 17 2020

4.4 sadly feels like a major downgrade :( a lot more stock-icons that break the consistancy of the theme. Did you rebase the theme? It was based on Papirus before, correct? I'll stick with the old theme for now and just watch this new theme for a while, see how things develope along the way. - Jul 16 2020

Check and see if you can upload your themes to the Cinnamon Spices page, then they'll pop up in the Settings menue in Linux Mint by default making it a lot easier to download and try them!

Looks great overall, buut.. I really dont like that the new folders now use Emblems instead of the built-in icons like the previouse ones had. The folders now look less streamlined, and I'm not a fan of that, personally i really liked the previouse folders with a clearly defined icon i the center of each folder... i like my folders to be streamlined.. Same issue still maintains as i previously mentioned. The base Marwaita theme uses the icon theme from the OS for the system-tray and not the ones the theme comes bundled with (the icons that does work in the Dark and Light version of them Marwaita theme!) - Jul 30 2019

I noticed that the systemtray icons (using the base Marawaita theme) are still using the stock icons from my system, the "Light" and "Dark" versions both use the Marawaita icons, but the base version uses the stock ones. Please correct this, i really dont like my systems stock icons >.<

Oh it looks great! And it's the correct icons and everything! Good job! :)
The only thing i can really mention now are some colour issues.. like.. the trashbin is a bit too dark, mailspring icon is extremely bright and the f.lux right-panel icon is black whence all other right-panel icons are a clear white coloure. I'll send a message at the repository, try to send away a screenshot as well. You're doing a great work here! - May 17 2019

I have the same issue on Linux Mint Cinnamon, the icons on display here are the ones i wanna see/use, not really a fan of the monocrome ones, i'm used to having an icon-size of 32px and those are only monocrome, same thing with the desktop-icons.

Why not just release one monocrome-theme and one regulare-theme? - May 16 2019

Looks great, love the upgrade! Thou i keep getting monochromatic icons in my panel (using Linux Mint: Cinnamon 19.1) and those icons dont look very nice... or fit.. dont know why i keep getting them since i also use a Plank dock where all the icons look great and colourful, like the ones on show here!
Then again this is a young theme.. bound to be some issues, hope they get ficed soon enough thou, would love to use this theme permanantly! - May 16 2019

Love it! Looks really nice! Just wishes the steam icon looked a bit more like the original, but thats just me. Also would be cool if the Linux Mint apps store had it's own icon, right now it just has the stock-gnome image which is kinda.. booring.

Looks really nice, the 3D icons looks great, i would say even better then the original icons thy are based on, BUT, i really dont like the way the 3D icons are bundled with the flat icons, they just dont mix well, at all. Would love if i could use only the 3D ones and ditch the flat ones. Never thought i would use that sentence but the 3D ones really look amazing! Great work on those! The flat ones however gives me flashbacks to Windows 8 *shudders*. - Jan 16 2019
