Nice design but you really shouldn't call it innovative if its obviously based on the Mac / Win7 themes. - Apr 17 2010

That's a bug.. you get the regular menu if the window is big enough (400px + it seems) - Apr 16 2010

Looking nice, I love how you made it so that features can easily be enabled / disabled.

One bug I ran into is that when the window gets too small (say <400 pixels) the view switcher stops functioning (it just shows a downward arrow that says "view as" when pressed and doesnt do anything).

Also, can you give any info on how to the visual to look like it does for you on other themes? I am familiar with Gimp so I don't mind messing around a bit ..

Thanks! - Apr 12 2010

I found that in KDE 4 under Kubuntu I had to place the files in the following folder:

Give that a try.

On topic:

Nice idea, the checkboxes where bugging me quite a bit with their default style.. unfortunatly you didn't fix those.. I'll have a bit of playing around myself tho :) - Oct 19 2008

Hi, I'd be very interested in giving knewz a spin, unfortunatly though upon configuring with cmake it fails with the following error:

CMake Error: The following variables are used in this project, but they are set to NOTFOUND.
Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the CMake files:
used as include directory in directory /home/nathan/Downloads/knewz-0.1_beta4/src

I am using Kubuntu 8.10 Beta - Oct 18 2008
