Focus through transparent windows

In fact your idea is interesting, but what your real aim could be achieved by Komposé (i.e exactly what Expose does on MacOSX).
Just move your mouse in a corner to have a full view of all your windows in order to choose the one your are interested in, and in another corner to hide everything and have access to the desktop.
I think that transparency + well working Kompose would be the most efficient way to manage windows. - Jul 28 2005

Wonderful, great with Mandrake 10.0 Official !!!
Nicelly integrated with KDE. I found the rpm with rpm.pbone.net.
But the keyboard shortcut by default are not very easy to use on a AZERTY.
I chose Alt + ² for "ungrouped"
and Alt + Space bar for "grouped by virtual desktop".
Next step : activation of kompose thanks to a mouse's clic or movement ? like on MacOS X Panther. - Sep 12 2004
