another test:

livecd and pen buttos work fine (they are linked to middle button and right button)

so it's a kcm-module problem and not a driver problem.

pen buttons works on my installation

infact with resetting X by:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

this for example :

audio recording alone i mean i think you have used recormydekstop so you have used its feature to record audio too.

that is bad because recordmydesktop can give in some audio card some problems on synchronization.

i have made my own script on bash to solve this problem using :
recordmydesktop to capture video
arecord to capture audio.

and it works fine with nice synchronization.
