Speaking from experience with that lens on my 400D, it takes some real skill to get shots like this. Keep up the good work. - Jun 17 2007

Going on the completely flat tops i'd place a guess that these are socket 5 Pentium 1 (non-mmx) chips.
The pins being in diagonal rows instead of horizontal/vertical rows excludes 348/486 chips. - Aug 22 2006

Nice picture, but the jpeg compressor has had a field day with it. Up the quality a bit and it will be awesome. - May 29 2006

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by krionius 23 comments

Has anyone tried this with the usb cable that comes with the K750i and the kernel driver CONFIG_USB_ACM (Device Drivers -> USB support -> USB Modem (CDC ACM) support) ?

The resultant /dev/ttyACM0 device when the phone is plugged in seems to work like /dev/rfcomm0 as far as minicom is concerned (my bluetooth is a little broken at present so i can't guarantee this). - Jan 15 2006
Using rotate wheel in K menu (Mockup)

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by dbojan 6 comments

This idea has promise, definately, although I can see a way that would make it more useful to people like me. (I might be crazy, but hear me out)

How about instead of one moving menu item, when we roll the scroll wheel it shuffles every menu item up and down, taking items from the top to the bottom (or vice-versa, depending on the direction of scrolling).

This might sound crazy, but anything to reduce the distance one has to push their mouse from menu button to menu item has to be an innovation for not developing RSI in later life.

Could be extended to most, if not all menus in applications and to context menus as well. - Nov 27 2005

It doesn't seem to work properly with kde's XComposite transparency and shadows.
Specifically, when the console retracts (or disappears, I turned off animation) the drop shadow is left behind. 2.4 Doesn't seem to have this issue - Oct 05 2005

2.3 is just about perfect I might add, but here are a couple of changes I would like to see:

1) Being able to choose a colour/whatever scheme for the tab bar. Some people may like it, but the pseudo-transparent bar isn't too flash with an opaque black console.

2) Assign some keys to "new tab", "close tab", "next tab" and "previous tab", maybe turn the "change access key" box into a full-fledged "keyboard shortcuts" dialogue.

One step closer to perfection though, keep up the good work. - Oct 01 2005

Courtesy of images from the "BlackGlass" theme for dbKalendar (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=24368), I have made a theme for simplegmail that matches.

To use, just replace the files in simplegmail/img/ and reload simplegmail.

Again, image credit to the author of "BlackGlass" for dbKalendar. - Jul 12 2005
