Next time, I'll let anyone know in advance when I'm about to release some modified artwork like this. - Feb 19 2005

If you search for KDE SVG Crystal Style, or click my username, you can find an SVG version of the wallpaper - it's easy to adjust all colors in it, just toy around with it in Inkscape and export to PNG when you're done. - Feb 03 2005

There's a SVG version (for the competition) and PNG versions for 1024, 1280 and 1600. Search for "crystal style" or click on my username.
I don't know where to get the other wallpaper, but someone else'll reply! - Feb 03 2005

I think these should/could/would be added as a default for KDE. I don't know anyone who uses Wontonsoup as a background. These polished wallpapers wouldn't offend anyone and would just air professionalism. I definitely recommend these! - Nov 05 2004
I've got another feature request: could you add support for the "Keep Above Others" and "Keep Below Others" buttons, they are new in KDE 3.3 I guess, and I use them often in the Plastik style but Crystal won't draw them. I looked up the code but I couldn't really get a grip on it (I'm a newbie QT/KDE hacker.) It would be great if Crystal'd implement all possible titlebar buttons. - Nov 05 2004
On my machine (KDE 3.3.0 Crystal 0.8b) I can still resize and move maximized Windows when using Crystal. You can see this when you move the mouse to the top-middle of the screen - the "size vertically" cursor appears and you can change the size of the window. The corners don't exhibit this behaviour, but the left and right edges do as well.
So, to conclude: hiding the borders and making the window unmovable and unresizable when the option is not set would be exactly what would improve Crystal even more. - Oct 22 2004
