I don't know the rules of artwork posted on deviant. If you borrow someone else's work though then any thing you create with it still falls under the stricter licence of the original artwork. Unless the author has released it to public domain.

Either way giving credit is always a noble gesture, which i'm sure the artist will appreciate! It also is a good way of makeing sure u cover yourself btw.

I commend your honesty - and would reccomend leaving the tag-line. Anyone who wishes to d-load for personal use can also blackout the (C) in gimp for themselves if it's that irratateing. If they can't then maybe they should be a little less criticle of your work. :-)

Keep up the good work!

I like the simple clean layout also. The chick is cute but I'd have moral issues with putting XP logos on my desktop ;-)

I've seen several refferences to girls like that being 'for Imac' when did I-mac begin drawing anime? Did i miss somthing here? - Dec 06 2003

While i'm logged in - I still don't understand how to install this not-theme of icons. Can anyone give instructions or do we just have to wait? - Dec 06 2003

Icon Sub-Sets by pirke 34 comments

It's a Kanguru 256 MB. drive and Mandrake 9.1.

When i was shopping around some manufactures didn't seem very picky about compatibility - I made sure i picked one that explicetly said it worked with windows OS's, Linux, and Mac.

I haven't had any problem so far no-matter where i plug it in; in fact i would higly reccomend this one. - Dec 06 2003

Really great job! I love the originality, it's about time someone did fresh work instead of copying cliche ideas. I particularly like the XMMS and Firebird ones - hated the orignals...

Is there any chance we'll see a new icon for the USB - Flash removable harddrives?
(just an idea - hint hint :)

KDE 3 Color Schemes by Sk0Rn 1 comment

How do I make the color scheme apply to all apps? I see you have the theme applied even to gaim.

On my system I clicked "apply to non-KDE apps" but GAIM, Gnome-Terminal, and Moz-Firebird keep their default colors... :(

How do i fix this? - Dec 04 2003

KDE 3.0-3.4 Themes by Ophilious 44 comments

I'm running MDK 9.1 and have never installed a new theme b4. I just extracted it to /usr/etc/Iron since i didn't know where else to put it.

I was able to add the Theme, but the 'Iron' Style wasn't added to the list and I can't figure out how to get it. Also what window decoration did u use espically in the second screen shot?

I'm excited about getting your theme working but right now it looks really bad on my system. - Dec 02 2003
