These are really nice wallpapers, but the resolution is so small I can't use them... got anything larger? Like 1600x1200 or such? :) - Mar 20 2006

Thanks for your help. I tried that but it still wouldn't build. So I just commented out that section of code and now it works. - Mar 04 2006

Where did you get that Beep Media Player icon? It's very nice and they are so rare to come by! :) - Feb 26 2006
Vistesque-Mod for Lipstik

Various KDE 1.-4. Styles by bonafide 120 comments

If you have Taskbar v2 installed (, click on the handle, go to taskbar v2 menu -> advanced options -> use window background color for text.

This probably only works if your window color is white though, never tried with darker backgrounds.

I don't know how to remove the outlines like in the screenshots though... - Feb 06 2006

Kopete Styles by Rossato 1 comment

I love this style and use it all the time. It's very nice!

One thing though. When a message is long enough it goes over the timestamp (not the stamp to the right of the nick) and creates a mess.

Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about... - Jan 31 2006

It's just Crystal, not Crystal-GL.

In Decoration Options for Crystal there is an Overlay tab. I am using "Simple Lighting" for active and inactive windows, not an image.

The color scheme is the same one that comes with the Lipstik Vistesque style, only the window active/inactive font color is changed. - Jan 29 2006

Do what Freddan80 said, except to get rid of the tabs I edited the konqsidebartng.rc file found in ~/.kde/share/config/

Under [filemanagement] there is HideTabs=false, change it to true and no more tabs. :)

I couldn't find another way but I bet Freddan's works too. :P - Jan 21 2006

Icon Sub-Sets by saki 96 comments

But... I see an OpenBSD icon, how about getting a FreeBSD one too? Many icon themes lack Beastie... it's a shame. :)

Keep up the good work, this is a very refreshing icon set! - Jul 18 2005

Great port of Industrial you got here, I love it. Industrial is my favorite GTK theme but Gnome doesn't do it for me. Glad to see it on KDE now.

There is one aesthetic issue I think can be improved though. The taskbar looks out of place with the gray buttons. If I knew how I would edit it to my liking, but I don't. So I have a suggestion: Could you make the buttons in the taskbar white like most of the buttons in applications? It would flow a lot nicer. =) - Jun 27 2005
