oh, and the actual article next to the topics doesn't look like yours in the screenshot, the font is really big, and extends outside of the margins to the right and down

how can i fix that? - Oct 08 2003

hi! how do i add rdf's? i don't see them on urls and am i supposed to? your app appears fine on my desktop. very nice, i agree, tho, a little dark, but manageable. also, if i change the feednames, will it break the theme? - Oct 08 2003
Liquid Weather ++

Karamba & Superkaramba by Matti 1797 comments

well, initially i didn't have it so i re-installed python again and now i have it and i'm getting the same error. i'm also getting an error with superkaramba about--

Could not find platform independent libraries ^prefix^.
Could not find platform dependent libraries ,^exec_prefix^.
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to ^prefix^[:^exec_prefix^]
'import site' failed; use -v for traceback

i don't understand what this means. :/
i changed the >'s to ^'s cuz they would be mistaken for html tags - Sep 24 2003

KDE 3 Color Schemes by jamieb 4 comments

Am I retarded? or what the hell am I missing here?! First, I don't have a "look and feel" option in my control center.. i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that it's Appearance and Themes???

Next, I did exactly what the instructions told me, as i'm new to kde, i normally use gnome and windowmaker, but since these new karamba thingies came out, i had to try them. So, can you help me a little? I really like your theme, as i like dark themes. It ain't there. *SHRUG*

i'm just getting a black bar
and when i read your script i noticed a reference to an oo.pl script, and i looked for that, and i don't have it...or what else could it be?
I also get this:

File "/home/stormy/kde/pl_news_bar/news_bar.py", line 11, in ?
import os
ImportError: No module named os
------------------------------------------------------
What does ImportError mean?

It means that I couldn't load a python add-on for news_bar.theme
If this is a regular theme and doesn't use python
extensions, then nothing is wrong.

i get this reallllllly long drawn out error, so i don't really want to post it, so i'll post part of it:

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 2
Minor opcode: 0
Resource id: 0x4c00058
superkaramba: TaskManager::TaskManager()
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3

Resource id: 0x4c00058
X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
Major opcode: 20
Minor opcode: 0
Resource id: 0x4c00058

A bunch of those, minus the superkaramba taskmanager one... Then:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/stormy/kde/liquid_weather_plus/liquid_weather.py
", line 3, in ?
import os
ImportError: No module named os
------------------------------------------------------
What does ImportError mean?

It means that I couldn't load a python add-on for liquid_weath
er.theme
If this is a regular theme and doesn't use python
extensions, then nothing is wrong.
------------------------------------------------------

And then a bunch more of like first errors.

I'm using the last SuperKaramba version
(i downloaded it last night) and i have Python 2.3.

I get this box in the middle of my desktop that takes on the properties of anything i seem to drag across it, but i can't click on it. - Sep 24 2003
