First of all resp to the work, i'd love to see such usefull stuff integrated into kde 4 - user and task-centered, i love it.

make -F Makefile.dist

which of course should be

make -f Makefile.dist

But I suppose all those who dare to use the CVS tarball know that...

Your app seems to be on the right way, but some hints for you:

i work on debian here, where include files for qt are in /usr/include/qt3, i had to set that with --with-qt-includes

And qt3.1.1 here (no idea since when) does not have qapp.h any more (don't know what that moved to "compat" in the sources), but changing it to "qapplication.h" in tuxsaver/tuxsaversetup.hpp seems to work fine...

Has anybody succeeded in compiling it for the unofficial Debian KDE3.1 Debs? I managed to do some other styles (after solving some g++3.2 problems), but i can't do that! Any suggestions?
This is the Problem:
configure.in:66: error: m4_popdef: undefined macro: AC_Dest

your idea is cool, but there's one thing i prefered with uga's: it's very usefull to get the schedule, the emails, maybe a todo-list and so on somewhere there (plug-in interface?).I also like the idea to have _frequently_ (not the last) used apps somewhere to access quickly. The L'n'F could be improved somehow, although i like some of your ideas...

...it's KDE3.1beta2. Looks cool, but there's no chance to configure that with KDE3.0, so either update to KDE3.1b2 (not reccommanded for every-day use) or wait a week or two.

...KDE has a lot of such nice but rather unknown features; i came over it when i was bored an hour or two. It would be interesting to collect those "hidden candies" and "document" them somewhere, so people don't have to do all the searching... maybe there are even "hidden" (== in config-files) options as well, or there are other useful hints...
