But what about a complete structured Projects-Panel with all possible options (including those in the EXTRAS menu)? I don't understand why I have to use the menu bar to create a copy of my cds or burn an image ...
Maybe grouped in "CD", DVD", "Tools" like this:
CD
Data
Audio
Copy
Create Image
Burn Image
DVD
Data
Copy
Create Image
Burn Image
Tools
Erase CD RW
Erase DVD RW
Or like this:
Data CD/DVD[...]
Audio CD/DVD[...]
Video CD/DVD[...]
Duplicate CD/DVD[...]
Something like that in a nice looking Project Panel :-)
Go on with you good work! - Feb 09 2004

To setup kfiresaver have a look at its commandline parameters (kfiresaver3d --help), but thats not what you want, is it?!

But there is no new Screensaver in kcontrol. Does anybody know, WHERE kde looks for screenssavers or (if the above settings seems ok) WHAT went wrong on my system?!

I have another idea: What about a firesaver-plugin for xmms or noatun?! This whould be great: Fireworks reacting to music.
I see one problem: The fireworks have to explode at music-beats but not start from the bottom. So you have to do a mode where explosions happen immediately! - Sep 09 2002

Its really great. Until now I didn't use a screensaver, but now I want THIS :-)
But: It doesn't install itself as a screensaver. Means: I cant select it to be started in kcontrol.
What should I do to make it my default screensaver? - Sep 09 2002
i.e.
The down-arrow on toolbar-buttonswith popup-menue doesnt look good because its raw into the border if the button.
Black line are sometimes doublesized. I think thats because there are two, each from another window element. Possibly you can minimize this effect...
The "line" between widget for resizing them doesn't look nice enough (too wide). Its the same for panelappletts "sidebar". Maybe there is another solution.
The highlight-effect in menues should be the same than on the menubar: a darker gray background.
Checkboxes with a bright blue suqare in it? Mmmh, dont like that so much.
And at last: A fitting color-scheme and window-decoration would be nice.
You see, though your work is great, there is alot to do As always ... :-) - Aug 02 2002
