All you need is add the theme to /usr/share/icons and install to and set the theme in alternatives.
No need to rm and link things.

Thank you. That makes it a lot easier to see.
Now my default cursor.

I really like this theme and your ideas but find it
a little hard to see.
Very nice work though.

Sorry to say this is very poor.
You have exec lines pointing to files that don't exist....files not named properly...
and when I ran the script and chose to change the gtk theme, got the zenity popup box and chose cancel
but it still changed my theme to ''
Please at least test your work. - Jan 08 2013

Ok, tried on my 12.04 install and works.
Don't know why it doesn't work in 12.10.
Looks good.
I installed timidity but the play button is still greyed out.
Thanks. - Dec 08 2012
Yes. The previous post gives an ls of all the files in /opt/GuitarScaleExpert

I can go to the file and copy it and this is the paste output...
/opt/GuitarScaleExpert/GuitarScaleExpert

The file is executable (application/x-executable) and is owned by root with read and write access and executable permissions.

Well 2 simple commands will accomplish the same thing that you ask gullible people to consider donating to.
sudo cp /usr/share/applications/gnome-appearance-properties.desktop /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow
logout.
Change theme.
login.
sudo unlink /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/gnome-appearance-properties.desktop

I use a custom font but the sidebar font won't change when I choose a different application font.
The fonts in the main widow change.
This doesn't happen in other themes.

No problem though if I manually insert
this is what is shown in the validate window

command to be executed:
rsync -h --progress --stats -r -tgo -l -p -D --update --delete-after --delete-excluded --exclude=**/Dropbox/
/home/glen/
/media/UBUP/karmic_home_latest/

I think I did it all right.
Exclude list displays /Dropbox/
and this is what is shown in the validate window

command to be executed:
rsync -h --progress --stats -r -tgo -l -p -D --update --delete-after --delete-excluded --exclude=/Dropbox/
/home/glen/
/media/UBUP/test/ - Dec 23 2009
first line should read just
# specific directory
- Dec 23 2009
Thanks,
That works. I was using
# specific directory /Dropbox/

# directory: /home/glen/Dropbox/

final pattern was /Dropbox/

and Dropbox was included in my backup.

So I'm a bit confused how to use
# specific directory.

- Dec 23 2009
Hi Loukas,
Great program, but I am unable to create an exclude pattern using the editor.
I have to insert it manually from info I got a few posts back.
I want to exclude one directory and I can add **/*Dropbox*/ manually but I can't replicate it with the pattern editor.
Thanks.
