all other settings works great, i have compiz and emerald running under arch linux.
gconf: instead of step 6 and 7
I run
gconfpkg --install windowtitle
gconfpkg --install windowbuttons - Feb 17 2011
when i check applet --> Preferences --> Behavior --> "Hide Compiz decorations for maximized windows" nothing appens, i close preferences, reopen it and the checkbox is unchecked. - Feb 17 2011

you should upload the files PKGBUILD and wdt.desktop from http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40536

continues to be the only option because it did not find the file options.csv or the folder "Hydroxygen". the theme was installed manually? is a recent version or older? the file options.csv is included only in the last version. however the server where to download the package is no longer available. when the server will again be reached or will be changed you will find an update. - Mar 13 2009
